OMG Bootsie, its one of my fav's too, out near Lake Travis, I've gone to 3 seminar/workshops there...and had incredible facials, massages, and relax to the max!
Did a weekend with Don Miguel Ruiz, and his son Don Jose, on the Four Agreements...a great book, and totally true concept, we'd all do well to live by that daily in our "situation"....lol....and went to a weekend Ayurvedic medicine workshop, I'm seriously considering getting a degree in Ayurvedic medicine, its the basis of all alternative therapies, from India...and have been there to just chill out once too....I probably won't be able to go there this trip, but I will make it to my fav. restaurant near there...you may know it too....Hudson's on the Bend....yummmmm yummmmm!!! First tho, I gotta get my filly that ribbon around her neck and a winning picture!!!!

YES YES GET THE RIBBON YES THE RIBBON. why that filly will look so prrrrrrty with that little ribbon flapping in the wind. ohhhhhh yeah. i can see that now. i want you to post that winning photo. then please have a piece of pie for me at hudson's would be a favorite restaurant for me. alas minus the pinot grigio though. and i am in with you on all accounts. i have the four agreements sitting on my desk. and ayurvedic medicine is way essential. i'm actually a practioner of pranic healing myself. have a hypno license as well and do quite a bit of healing sessions up here in the woods of la la land. how about that bear???? hahaha yep, essential oils and all that. and i am a certified reiki master. so, you go get that ribbon and hurry on back. i will hold down the fort this week as i have no plans to go anywhere but to work. oh yeah and bootcamp and the pool.

Well Bootsie, we ought to be able to HEAL US ALL OF THIS "situation" we're in...so why can't we...lol...mysterious syndrome this tendancy is! I fully plan to have sprakling water and if any, no more than 1 pinot grigio, sipping slowly thru-out dinner, hoping my lithium orotate is doing the job...!!!! I have a plan, now I just have to STICK TO IT....this will be my biggest test yet, if I flunk, then I'll be on the AF train for sure!!! Doing better like I said, but I'm not exactly where I have my goal set...I may have to go to Plan B, but I sure will if need be....I'm going to heal myself somehow......dangit! lol

We got all of our hay in tonight.... Everbody but me is in bed already... we're all tuckered but it's so nice knowing that if it should rain during the night all your sweet smelling hay is nice and dry in the barn... I always feel such a relief.... Well tomorrow late afternoon we will go and bring Milly home... Her boxstall awaits her complete with a new corner feeder and water buckets. I know it will take her awhile to settle in but I'm certain she will be so happy in her new family... I'll pop in tomorrow night to keep you posted on "stuff"...
Must mention, since hubby did 30 days AF he is a wonderful moderate drinker... I'm really proud of him... He has lost 15 lbs and I've lost my last 10 stubborn lbs. that alcohol kept on me. Have a wonderful Thursday everybody and I'm so blessed to share this experience with all you fine folks. Hugs, ~Niblet~

since i'm headed to bed and you all will wake up early. i thought i'd post and be your wake up posting. niblet i just loved the smell of that hay. yummmmy. and i'm so happy for your hubby being a moderate drinker. wow that is so very good news. just wanted you to know that as i rounded the track at the middle school tonight at bootcamp oh on like the 3rd lap and i didn't think i could actually run anymore cuz i had already done circuit training for 45 minutes i thought of you all. the little family. so i continued on. i made it all the way around the track. it was so inspiring that after i made that nice salad when i got home and my water/juice i poured a big bath with like a jug of epsom salts. why you ask ?because i simply can't move. aahahahhaahahah. i think i'm that mare they put out to pasture. love those paints tex. and i know you can have just a glass or so. so i'm holding that intention. has anyone heard from hereatlast? i haven't been here for awhile and i was missing her. welcome to your new day.boots p.s. morrison. awfully sorry that whilest on your vacate time you got ill. the beach is such a great place and tis no fun to be ill. so always a note to self. do not eat any shell fish in the summertime in california. that will be for your next visit.

Hereatlast as been doing well...she has not been on for a day or two, but she is doing well last we heard...HEREATLAST??????? Bear, now we gotta worry about her? LOL She is back working.

Went to bed early last night...knew that was a bad idea, always is...now I am up in the middle of the night. I can never sleep more than 5 hours a night...NEVER. I hate that. I have a built in alarm system.

To all of you that got on my ass!!!

Thanks for all the advice, and pushing me to do what I need to do (meds, as well as continuing to come here and not give up.) I would like to take the time to thank you individually, but I'd be so worried I would miss somebody by mistake, and I wouldn't want to hurt anybody. Everybody has taken so much time to be good to me, I lost count. Its truly amazing. I will continue to post, and sincerely hope I can find the time to have a repor with all of you. All of us have things in common, and I would like to continue to get to know everybody on here better. Please be patient with me. Sometimes, I truly don't have the time to post much, so don't ride me too hard, okay? It is frustrating trying to keep up with all the post and posters. This has become a massive community, and a site with so many great people. I'd like to say "hello" to all of the newer members as well, and hope that we can have some serious, and of course, not so serious conversation in the near future.

Hello all, just have a bit of spare time... Bootsie love that we all inspired that last lap out of you...You're gonna be ripped by the middle of summer with all those muscles from training.. Good for you !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bear, you'd laugh but I'm actually using a kitty litter bucket as a chair today... Far cry from the comfy chair you get to plunk in.. LOL !!! My usual chair is being used to hold up baseboards that I will paint tomorrow.. My spare room is getting a MUCH needed facelift. I've been meaning to ask Luv, how is your shitzu(I think that is the breed?) Is she showing any physical signs of being a Mommy to be? Loss of appetite at first? etc... Let us all know how things are going.. We would love to hear.. I forget when she was bred. Hope that all is well for you... On Tuesday you would laugh, I wasn't quite awake and the first thought that came to mind was your Grannys' birthday... Funny how we are all so "connected"... We are all in the same boat and Bear is our captain.. Bootsie will do the Reiki thingy to our tired shoulders, Luv will make sure there are beautifully potted plants everywhere on this boat.. The rest of us will "chill" and help out whenever we're needed... Sounds like a hoot !!!

P.S. How was your Moms check-up Bear? She will be so relieved when both of her eyes are done.. Modern medicine can be so amazing. NIblet, my little Sarah(that is my puppy's name) was kinda dragging for 2 weeks, but she is her old self now. I have bred her 1 other time and she had no signs til the very end. I mean I didn't really know she was prego til I had puppies! So, I am eagerly waiting, she will deliver in August. I am gonna go home and give her a bath today. She was stinky last night...ha ha.

Hope all was well today day with Grandma Bear!

Mama has her second round of chemo tomorrow. She has gotten so MEAN lately...i mean just really ugly to everyone. Granny, the kids, me...she is NEVER like that. It started before chemo. I thought maybe she is just not feeling well, I know she has to be tired of being sick. But, it is getting worse. She jumped all over Zak last night because he was playing with Granny's b-day balloon. I calmly told her Granny gave him the balloon and there was no reason to get on to him. She felt bad, I could tell. I try to be diplomatic about it. It is getting to the point though, that I won't leave her alone with the kids she is so grouchy. She'll hurt their feelings. I can brush it off, but they can't. They don't understand. Such is life at my house!!! UHHHHH.... We need happy pills

Mom got a good report. walked out of the office able to see better with the new lens than with the other eye. That's good news.

I understand what you are talking about nibs, my old chair was an old toilet, we didn't have a litter box. . . . heh heh. i think I could sleep in the new one it is great. I'm talking lumbar support here. Glad you are getting the horse. Luv, I hope the bath goes well. Watch out for the shimmy dry. You know your mom is going through a lot and I know it is tough on her mental health. Have you considered talking to the Dr. to see if they might give her something to take the edge off. I can imagine what she must be thinking about and having to work through, so it is a little bit understandable. You are really sweet and smart and it sounds like you are handling it pretty well.
