It is always such a blessing to see some company stop by... Kinda feel like we should pull out the good china for their wonderful visit
As I sit here enjoying cup of coffee #2, I'm reflecting on the last 8 months or so... What a ride !! I'm so blessed to have you all in my life and wish you all the warmest of wishes, filling your hearts with the Christmas spirit...

WOW, I am so glad to see those dropping by to wish us all a Merry Christmas. This is my second family. Who would have ever known back in April that I would be surrounded by this much love on a daily basis from people I have never met. I love each of you!!! We have had our bumps, but you know what....we are on a MUCH smoother road than we were months ago.
Chrysa...Bootsie doesn't have cancer! She has been ill and we aren't sure yet what is wrong...but, prayers, prayers, prayers, go up each day she will be A OK.
Bootsie, YOU CALL ME ANY TIME!!!! Middle of the night, Christmas Day...I don't care...you need me, I am there!!!! You were there for me...I am here for you!
Bird, I would go caroling with you. Hell no one could think I was any crazier than they already do...HA HA HA

Just got back from the post office where I thought I was picking up a book I had ordered but when I got there it was a package from magic.The kids are really excited and jumping around and they are going to go caroling if they can get some of the neighborhood kids to go to. They are wide open and I dont mean a little. Bootsie I wish we could be there in person for you. I think there must be some way we could could do something with those little webcams. Not sure if you can do it with more than 2 computers though??? I'll be back later. We have to round up some kids...bird

What is everyone doing? We made cookies and then I cut my little ones hair and she cut mine. It doesnt look too bad. I will post a pic whenever. I made up a big veggie platter for supper and am settling in for the wait. The kids decided not to go caroling and I'm tired anyway. Thank God I'm sober tonight. I'll be up very early tomorrow. love bird

hey luv bug... i'm here. today is all liquid day as tomorrow is full round of tests. yesterday i just tunneled in i'm afraid so didn't want to talk to anyone. but i read a whole lotta medical books. so i'm a way smart girl now. and i know i can beat this.. and i'm not getting the hysterectamy. that is such a dangerous thing health wise for women to do. laet resort
are you all still in your jammies? nibs i'm so excited about you seeing your dad. and my hubby made the roast with me and it turned out amazing. best i've ever had. i gave hubby full credit. today i'm making him get up and walk the dogs. i know he's had surgery and all but i need some help. lmao...... so go... my man
birdie did the girls have a great xmas? i so know they did. more 2 should be on her way to the dessert. i shall be ringng you up say come tomorrow and friday. news depending. today i need to work but on calls from home. and then onward upward.

AW LUV, YOU GOT A BULLDOG! AS YOU CAN SEE BY MY AVATAR, THEY ARE JUST THE SWEETEST, YOU HAVE TO SEND ME PICS! If I didn't have so many dogs already, I'd get another one...ours is Norman, he'll be 2 next month, he's the biggest character, totally spoiled, and loves toys better than any dog we've ever had! What'd you name her? Sorry I've been so swamped with company and haven't had time to even get on the computer til today! WHEW....can I catch up? I'll try! I got a great Secret Santa from More2, loved it! Had a great day with family and friends, all day and half the night last night! More2 loves her son's new GF, I'm totally thankful for my daughter's new BF, he's the absolute best, then again, naturally More2's son would pick someone as cool, cute, fun and sweet as Dear Ol Mom...lol... Bear, glad you were with family, saw snowflakes on Christmas, and are healing up, albeit a tad at a time! Nibs, my Mom and I have only recently "tolerated" each other...lol...she's about as materal, as a toad, my Grandmother, whom I called "Mother" and my Mom, I called Gayle...for a long time...I'm so blessed my "Mother" taught me how to be a loving, unconditional loving, caring Mom, or my kids would've had a bad habit repeated, I'm sure, from lack of learning about mothering on her part! I miss my "Mother" and my Dad too, they were Christmas, and were special. This time of the year just makes you have those thoughts and feelings....BUT, THIS FAMILY IS THE BESTEST EVER RIGHT GUYS!!!!! I truly was down on the side of the bed, on my knees, thanking God that this year, I have ya'll to start off the New Year with! I found this place in March, and have gotten so much better, not perfect, but completely transformed....I know with all of you to help, and all of us to hold cyber hands, this will be the BEST YEAR EVER!
Ok, now what's up with Boots??? I have to surf the other threads, I got lost someplace on something, we've had some server issues, and I think I lost some mails and posts! Bird, I too, like Boots, cried like a baby, as did several folks in my house, when I got yours and the girls letter! The lil handwritten letters, and cartoon, were so heartwarming...you have the most precious group...I can't wait to hear all about your Christmas day, and see new pics! So glad to see all the folks stopping by to join us, each and every person is welcome and soooo important in all the sharing and caring! I know I've missed something important...I'll keep trying while I'm cleaning up around here to catch up. Part of our Christmas present is a short lil trip to the Hyatt Lost Pines Resort and Spa in Bastrop, Texas, near Austin, on the Colorado river...we're just going to chill out, re-group, and have some spa treatments! I've almost pooped myself out the past few weeks! We had a heathen child here with stepdaughter, and its a wonder I didn't dive off the wagon right onto my head, into the wine....whew....then, just company and more company, I'm fixing to start charging by the night here too....lol...Love you all!
