A quick check in. Seems like I've been busy with so much kid stuff lately. I am detoxing from diet pepsi and what a headache. Seems like I crave less when I dont drink that mess. So what about Kentucky nibs??What would yout hubby think if some of us showed up. We stayed at a KOA there last time we went to Colorado. It was really nice. hmmmm bird

Bird, not this July, but next July in 09, it will be our 25th anniversary. We have planned now for over 10 years that we would go to Kentucky to see "Horse Park"... There are some folks that have a camp across the lake from ours and they are from near there.. Actually they know their way around there really well... In 09, there is supposed to be a huge celebration because of some Kentucky anniversary at the horse park, so we are really looking forward to checking things out.. We will stay at these folks home and they will kinda aim us in the right direction sharing some days with us. We will likely only be in Kentucky for about 3 days because of travel etc. Nothing is written in stone as of yet, but we have a brief idea of what will take place. Is Horse Park anywhere near any of you folks?

While you want him to abstain, it is not something you can control. If he intends to have sex, all you can hope for is that he does not get someone pregnant or get a disease.
Teach him how to use a condom - you, a father figure, get a video, whoever.
Take him to Planned Parenthood and have him sit in the waiting room with all those young desparate girls and maybe their nervous boyfriends.
Make him co-babysit someone's young child.
Talk to him and his girlfriend together. Get her parents involved, if you feel they would be constructive.

Lots of ideas, not sure which one is right for you.

I feel sick! I don't even want to think about my kids having sex...UH I KNOW it is coming in a fews years, scares me to death. Brit just had her first LITTLE kiss...just a little peck. Makes my stomach hurt. DX, that was good advise!!!!
Brits boyfriend broke-up with her yesterday. She was so sad lastnight. Cried all evening. Oh young love, I can remember when I thought the world would end. She is only 14...there will be many more boyfriends before it is all said and done. She was kinda mean to the little boy...of course I didn't tell her that. She is learning a lesson....the hard way. Guess she gets that from her Mama, I seem to learn lessons the hard way too.
Why do we always convince ourselves that we can mods, knowing damn good and well, we can't!!! I do it too. AND every single time, I fail and swear never again. We can do this. One day at a time.....sometimes one hour at a time. I have faith that God will see each of us through this. Never stop fighting!!!
