Hello everybody
Today the clocks go forward one hour so the sun will be out until around 7:00 !!!
Today is hubbys birthday so we will be BBQ supper with the boys. It is so bright and sunny out.

Bird, that is so funny about your chickens sneaking in to eat the cats food... I could just see it.. Haaa !! Haaa !!! Congratulations on taking a leave from work... Make the most of this freedom to be all that you can be... I'm so happy for you !!

It sure is great to hear from you Morrison. You sound like you are doing just amazing.

Tex, do you have any foals yet? I'm anxiously awaiting all the news about your mares and foals. I wish I could be a fly on the wall at your farm.

My silly cat is insisting on being right on my lap today which makes it so tough to type. She is a real sweetie.

Hey Morrison! I just got your e-mail, and I'll mail you back tomorrow! Hope you get to hook up with everyone in Vegas, and I know you need to get outta Dodge and your job too, you will, soon as you get your counceling done, glad that is going well too! Bear, whatcha doing this weekend? Bird, good deal on the leave, use it to the fullest! Like Luv said tho, and I said earlier, don't get bored! Start working out, or get a class to go to for fitness, or get organized at home and start looking at new positions, heck, if you could work it out, you could go to learn a new career, and start all over! D, you sound awesome, thought of you this weekend while I was cooking up a bunch of stuff! Nibs, I have as of last night, 3 colts, 1 paint, 1 QH, and 1 breeding stock paint....WANT ONE? I know Equine Express comes to Canada all the time....lol...we have been so sickly, and the weather so awful here, til today, we haven't even been out there yet, my helper has sent me pics, our farm is 12 miles from the house and acreage we have here....I'll get you pics this week! I think we are putting our hay meadow up for sale, we can buy hay just as cheap as we can make it, and that property is separate yet again, and would be a great building site for someone.... Luv, get that boy outta that bed...lol....you might want to share with some other man with a hairy chest, and that'd be an issue! Glad you are doing so much better, and glad those flowers More2 sent, are hanging in there! I gotta call her, I got 'pert near sick under the dryer Weds, and that's when I went on over to my friends/parental units in Kilgore, sans phone charger...I'm a ditz these days! Ok, gotta go change all the clocks, WE FORGOT, and just realized it when looking for Extreme Home Makeover! OPPS! Love you all tons, and bushels, and pecks!

Good Sunny Monday morning everybody
Wow, Tex, I'm going to be so glad to hear about you kicking that darn flu you have had for soooo long !! That is just aweful to feel like that for so long... Knock on wood we have been really healthy in our home... Our son had a sore throat for a few days is all.. I've not had a cold or flu in almost 3 years. Now, I likely just jinxed myself This week I have to be alot nicer to myself as I have been having way too much "fun" in the last few days. I will listen to my little voice and follow your lead Cindi. xxx

Morning all! It's a icky, yucky, rainy 'ol day here.....grrrrrr! I finally feel like a normal person today, that is the sunniest news of all! I actually ventured upon the treadmill, didn't overdo it so I'd regret it after such a break, but made a half hour...will try for more intensity and time tomorrow....gotta help! I've cooked all weekend, so we have alot of healthy, organic, yummy stuff to eat this week, I even made what I figure will be my last batch of homemade chili for the season, I have a feeling we've gone from snow this week, to probably swimming by Easter....lol.... Cowgal, you are doing great!!! Good for you! Ditto Cindi, I'm so glad you are getting the Anabuse, just be extra careful, do not tempt fate and take a drink, please! Nibs, I'll get you pics really soon, quick as the rain lets up! Here's a cool, easy reciepe for you guys....fold over some heavy duty foil, big square, spray it with olive oil, half a poblano pepper, take out the seeds, lay it on the foil, spray it with a bit of the olive oil spray, chop up some pitted dates, and sprinkle some crumbled feta cheese on the boat of the pepper, lay a boneless skinless chicken breast on top of of the filled pepper, and salt, and pepper, and put some tomato pesto on the chicken, and top with a half a piece of bacon...do about 4....fold the foil all up on all sides and top, tight, and put on a baking sheet, in the oven at 350, for about 40 mins., turn down to like 175 for about 15mins., turn it off, and let sit in the foil while you toss a salad, whatever....its quick and easy, and extra yummy, they'll think you were in the kitchen, creating all day!!!! Just a Monday dinner sharing! Love you all...is Bear back? Morrison, I composed an e-mail to you, and the dang thing got eaten in cyber space, I'll start over promise! Hope everyone is adjusting to the time change, we had been 2 hrs. earlier for nearly a week, then came back to Texas to the 2 hrs. later, then the forward an hour....GEEEEEZZZZZ....guess who overslept and was late getting to the pharmacy this morning! Hubby was jumping towards the door with one leg in his jeans cussing a blue streak! I pulled the pillow back over my head! Love you all, hope everyone is starting off on a great week, I'm soooooo excited to have the energy returning enough to get back on the exercise track!

Opps, forgot, pour a lil bit of italian dressing on top after the bacon, or any kind of yummy oil dressing, kinda crusts the bottom of the chicken, and smells awesome cooking! Ok, Chef Tell off to the sauna now....lol.....
