Wow More2! I'm soooo impressed! I did great on vacation too, thank goodness for willpower I guess, altho, if I ever did/do bite the dust again, trust me, after my barn scare, I'll be on anabuse!! Hope the house sells quick, I'm looking forward to occupying the guest SUITE for a spa long weekend! I'm still having e-mail issues, 21k e-mails trying to download after Hughes screwed up everyones accounts! Hope everyone has a great weekend, we're going to take those baby pics at the farm, and spend a night there, cooking out, kissing horses, and sleeping all night this time...lol...they have a lil festival in the community where our farm is, so we thought we should interact a bit with our neighbors, so we'll get up and cook breakfast, and watch the parade, and help the 4H kids a bit. I'll check back in on Sunday!

Well, the fellas have been listening to the news and some of their bridges are washed out. They will have to postpone their fishing trip until the end of May... Oh well, this afternoon it is calling for a bad thunderstorm... Hubby seems happy to putter around here and not worry about the freezing temps while sleeping in a tent...
Today is a PD day, so both the boys are free to so what they like. Ryan is at his girlfriends and Ty is kicking back watching Star Wars. He is now on the fifth one... It is not my cup of tea. Thank Goodness he has a DVD player in his room.
So, I'm gonna head out to the garden to clean out all the weed for when the rototiller turns the soil. Oh ya !!! Our neighbour has the exact same rototiller as us but in needs a couple things.. Hubby will build one good one from the two really cheap.

Hello everybody. Sorry I've been gone. I'm glad Luv told you all about my back, and I appreciate the prayers. I don't know what I've done to it. I just woke up one day, and it was sore, so I thought I just slept weird, and it would go away. Well, it's been approx. 2 weeks, and still pretty sore. I was hoping I wouldn't have to go to the doc for it, because I know from family members, that it seems they can't do shit for a sore back, and it just nags on and on. So strange it just flared up out of nowhere. One of my friends thinks it may be stress. Who knows. Anyway, I think of all of you a lot. I'd love to sit down and catch up on this thread. Another part of the problem is I'm not to do anything on my work computer that is unrelated to work. Now this is funny. I got busted for having stuff on my laptop that wasn't suppose to be there. The laptop died, and it had to go back for repair. Well, a guy in IT just replaced a part on the mother board, and it came back to life. I forgot I had a bunch of videos on there that I downloaded. Nothing dirty, just TV shows and stuff. Well, that is a big NO NO. Haha. I actually had to laugh at getting busted. So, if I get caught doing ANYTHING I'm not suppose to, I'm fired. I use to do most of my posting during slow times at work. Last two weeks with my back sore, I just get home from work and lie down, so I have gotten behind. I will be changing jobs soon anyway, but that is for another time/thread. I need to get to bed now. I'll keep you all in my prayers. Love you all. Dave.

Had a GREAT day yesterday, cleaned my house top to bottom. I mean washed curtains and all. Felt like my old self. I am normally a NEAT freak. When drinking I get DEPRESSED and don't do anything productive. But, life is good! Mother's day is coming so to avoid sitting in this house and feeling sorry for myself, I made plans for the entire weekend. No more pity parties here.

I hope everyone has a great Saturday! Nibs, ALL ALONE..my gosh what will you do. LOL

Hey MORRISON!!!! Glad to hear you are up and around. Bad backs suck. I was having steroid injections on mine until I had my knee fixed and the back pain just sort of went away. I thinkit was from walking with a limp and kindof lop sided. I hope yours straightens out soon. And screw the computer nazis. They drive me crazy at work too.

Lisa, nothing feels like a great house cleaning. And you just made me realize something. I did a full apartment cleaning just right before I woke up with a sore back. Hmmm. You know, I lift weights and all, but sometimes you use muscles doing other tasks that aren't quite in shape. I wonder if. Haha. I'm just looking for future excuses to be a slob. :H

Oh I have seen pics with Bear and the kids/grandkids....he is JUST LIKE WE THINK HE IS....a great guy! You can tell in every hug and kiss his family gives him!!!!! Shit, I am thinking he could adopt me??? HA HA

Morrison, my back is sore today too, not sure if from the house cleaning or the bowling with Zak, but damn, I am old OKAY! House smells good though and the yard is looking SO GOOD! I have planted so many things the last few days. Spent all day today, shopping and planting flowers..is almost 9 oclock and just thought of 3 more plants I GOTTA HAVE! Running to Lowe's before it closes..ha i am posting pics this year cause everything planted last year looks REAL good this year!!!!

Great to hear from you Dave xxx My back is achey today too. There is nothing as painful as a sore back. Absolutely every muscle seems to be connected to it.. I really hope that it feels better soon. It does sound like you maybe twisted or lifted something when you were do all that cleaning.
Nope Luv, I'm not all alone this weekend. The fellas had to postpone their fishing trip because of a bridge being out where they were headed.
So, yesterday we went into the small town of Echo Bay for the huge community garage sale... Yahooo !!! I found some really good bargains. I now have a spare pair of rubber boots for out at the barn even !!!
Well, today hubby got the rototiller going !!! I'm soooo happy to hear it chugging along turning all that soil. Sometimes I feel like such a jinks though.... there I was hanging out laundry when my line snapped in half. Clean wet clothes landed on nice green grass thank the dear Lord.... Hubby had to put his ladder up against the far pole to run the cable back through the thingy... Then, when he was at the very top of the ladder, SNAP !!! the pole broke and hubby is screaming like a girl !!! He must have been a cat in another life I tell ya, cause he landed on his feet !!! Haa !! Haaa !!! When I knew he was ok, I laughed my a$$ off !!! So, #1 Son is getting in some hiway driving to go to the hardware store to buy another cable and tensioner thingy... I'll end up with a much needed longer line because about 15 feet or so behind the fallen down pole is a nice big poplar tree to connect the new line to... What a day

Hi Nibs. I'm sorry to hear you are sore too. What the hell is going on? We're falling apart. I think we were probably always hurt in the past too but never new it. Isn't it funny watching OTHER people fall though? haha. I'm glad your husband is OK. Until you mentioned it, I completely forgot people hung their laundry outside these days. I just haven't seen it done in so long, but the air here is too dirty and dusty I guess.

I usually get a sore back when I spring clean or paint. I think it is true it's moving muscles we don't use working out. Love the part about never feeling it before. So true.At least the pain now is from doing something other than drinking on the couch!

Is strange to hear people still hang their laundry out. BUT, fresh air dried sheets smell GREAT! Weather is so unpredictable here, I wouldn't dare. Plus, I am just to darn lazy. Sorry hubby fell Nibs, but at least he was fine and ya got a good laugh for the day, right? HA HA
Hope everyones aches are gone soon. My whole body aches from deep cleaning and gardening.
