I am sitting here in the worst thunderstorm ever.........this little Prius doesn't drive well in this, I am sitting in a parking lot cuz I am scared to drive..... Took Zac to the mall, feeling ok, sorry too greeneyes about your fishing, feel like that about my horse riding this weekend, bummed.

My quaker parrots that are outside on my back deck...there are 7 of them...they are a free flying colony..I have been dying for them to have some babies...well they are finally laying eggs in their nest boxes instead of the bottom of the cage. Three little eggs in there...I keep checking. Hatch lil eggs...hatch...I want to see a baby bird. Why is it the Wrens have babies in my garage every year but this seems to be such a task????

We got home this afternoon around 2 on a sun-shiney afternoon. We had a fish fry on Friday and still managed to bring home our limit of walley
You guys wouldn't believe the weather though !!! On Friday we had a snow storm... Yep A flippin' snowstorm !!! Thank the dear Lord we all had plenty of warm clothes and a furnace in the trailer. We were all troopers though and made the very best of it. Yesterday was the nicest weatherwise so we went on a scenic hike up to Aubry Falls.. This sights were just breathtaking as we walked across the boardwalk that overlooks the falls. Amanda took plenty of pics and will give me her memory stick to download some pics... I'll forward a couple to those that would like to see.

It's nice to be home though My little Alley-oop kitty is laying across my lap purring away... All my barn critters were very well cared for. Kelsey even cleaned up the barn this morning so no scouping for me tonight !

Luv, I really hope that your quakers have lil babies hatch out soon for you... Will you hand raise them or will they remain semi wild?
Well, I'm going to grab some supper then bring in my critters for the night. Tomorrow I have to wake up at 5;30.

If you put all your qaukers in a large area....not caged...but they are in a larged wired off area...thye are a free flying colony. They will have babies and just keep growing in there. Eventually I will have to take some out. But, not for awhile.

Greenie...they are free but not really. No other birds can get to them. But they have a huge area to fly free in. But, it is caged off. Have you ever been to the zoo and been in that area you walk in their cage and they fly down to eat nector from your cup...it is kinda like that! Hawks can't get in there.

Greenie, when I get her memory stick I'll be sure to forward some pics... well to all of you actually.. gosh how I wish I didn't have dial-up connection... we are slow, slow, slow.

Well, this weekend we are renovating the raspberry row and possibly planting the garden... yippeeee ! I love to watch things grow. I'll also take Maisy for a nice ride. In the evenings I take her on her lead onto the lawn so that she can have some nice fresh grass. She loves it alot. Her coat is finially shedded mostly out and I'm finding that she has a fair amount of dark brown in her coat. This winter she looked black but now you can clearly see that she is a bay
Well, I'm glad that tomorrow is Friday and I don't have to wear a workshirt as we have "Friday dressdown" day.
Our pool went from 52 degrees F. yesterday to 62 today.. We'll likely light the sauna and jump in with a scream.
Well, it's threatening to rain so I suppose I'll do my chores a bit early.

Hey y'all,
I'm baaaaaaaack! Been so busy out there destroying my sobriety. I've become such a binge drinker. Get almost 60 days and then drink a lot for 5. Don't even know why I pick up, there was no crisis, wasn't particularily depressed or angry about anything. Just 1 day last week I very casually got in my car, drove u know where and bought a bottle of wine which turned into many bottles of wine and my husband actually moving out, etc., etc.,etc. Had a very bad run. My hangover lasted 3 days.
Too embarrassed to go back to AA yet, I've done this so many times. Was even hesitant to come back to this site but I know you guys will be supportive and that's what I need right now.
Anyhows, DAY 6 and everyday feeling better.
It is cloudy, gray and cool in this desert this morning which suits me fine.
Have missed you all.

My plan is to not drink...ha, ha. That's always the plan and I'll go with it for a month or 2 but then kaboom, I'm at the ole wine shoppe again. Have tried antabuse and that works until that morning when I take the pill and then spit it into the sink!
I was in rehab in Oct. They told my husband that if I drink that he should leave for 30 days, only he always comes back in about 4or 5.
the threat of his leaving does NOT keep me from drinking.
I feel like I've tried every damn plan ot there.
