A Better Me;1565009 wrote: Hello Undies, been lurking...go Reggie.
Undies I have an ethical dilemma. I've just discovered a nest in a tree in the yard, cute little birdies, yay...BUT said birdies are Indian Miners...those horrid little things that torment the native birds... sometimes I see a heap of them tormenting a magpie or a cockie...mid flight!!!
Do I just leave the nest and tell the kids if they accidentally get it with the ball when they playing soccer then so be it? Or do we actively try & get it? Avoid it? What to do people, what to do?
Contact the local council and find out what their policy is. They have been declared a pest in a lot of LGAs and some encourage people to trap and exterminate.
Local vets will also be aware of legislation.
If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

That's a tough one Cakes. I reckon Rags will know though and she's back Tuesday? Myself, I couldn't actively do it. But not to say I wouldn't take a sudden and active interest in ball sports...

Speaking of which...who else hates football?? I'm talking NRL...well today I am...

Mussels are just num num too Reggie, one of my favourites...

        Evening all,

Noice jam this arvo with me band. Top blokes, top sounds, but it'll never sell.

Love mussels Reg. No idea re the sauce, but i love to drink the juices mixed in the water i've steamed them in. Leroy the chef probably just beat up an egg in tobasco and lemon juice. Just checked Reg cam. The city lights look noice. Your boat doesn't seem to be there, just the rowboat.....

All the best with the birds nest situation Cakes. It'll sort itself out.

        Go the sea eagles!

Morning Mr G and all to come. Nope we have no spring either, just jumped straight into summer. 35 degrees today or so they say. Already walked the dog and off to do bendy bits.

Good to hear you're walking Ficks, just gets my head on straight every morning. Clarity and a smile to start the day

Have already fielded an early morning call about a lost dog. My number is quite close to the RSPCA's you see. Can't believe some of the calls I get offering me goats and ferrets.
