        Sorry Froglette.
It's got nothing to do with the minutiae of feeding oneself has it?
If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

          Morning all,

Orf to school today. There are chicks. Now, where's that nice blue and white shirt that usually irons itself out after a wash?........

Have a pearler and it.is.POETS. So Hailey and Finbar can lock up.

          Happy birthday Techstar!

Here's a ditty i came across. For you Raggsy.

                October 23

                Angels Of The Flame

New South Wales is reeling, Mother Nature’s made her call,
Now suburban warriors battle with their backs against the wall.
With prayers dispatched in anguish to an authority who is higher.
Than the ghoulish, hungry, monster that has sporned the dreaded fire.

And the world will watch in horror as the smoke blocks out the sun,
As the black ash marks the front lines of a battle just begun.
Here as sadness, fear and anguish pave the path for dumb despair,
Comes a sign of sweet salvation that will show these folk we care.

For a fire, burning fiercely, that is fanned by winds of need,
Has been smoldering in the hearts of those who share a special creed.
Now ignited by compassion’s spark it’s leaping ten feet tall,
In the spirit of Fire Fighters who have answered up the call.

These brave men and braver women, they are 'Angels of the Flame',
They’re both country born and city bred, but all of them born game.
They have donned the battle colors, they have kissed their kin goodbye,
They have come to douse the Devil’s flames that blacken New South’s sky.

With an enemy relentless, angry, in its quest to gain more ground,
There are harsh calls on the courage and the strength that must be found.
But with resolve that’s fire tempered, these true hero’s now have shown,
That they would not fight more fiercely if these homes were called their own.

On the back veranda of some stranger, facing flames and death and heat,
Stand these volunteer commando’s just refusing to be beat.
Nameless faces, fire blackened, smoke red eyes and hearts of gold,
Let’s beseech the God who made them that he never break the mould.

                      Yuck - it sounds gross!

And BTW Nicey, no, I didnt get around to posting that wee story. MAybe I will over the weekend. I'm looking forward to it very much - I've worked really hard this week so I feel like I "deserve" it, but also we've sort of done most of moving in type things that we needed to do, so we have plenty of free time. I've droped a strongly worded hint to Mr B that organising tickets for us to see South PAcific at the OPera House would get hom some brownie points.

Missy - enjoy your weekend. You do deserve it!!!

Just in case Techie drops by - Happy Birthday lovely man.

                        Huge respect to Tawny.

Salute to Mr G. Chicks at school huh? Hope one of them passes you a note at big lunch.

Hey Bridge - feet still blue?

                        Hi ho Raggsy.

                        Hiya Corri.

                        Hugs to everyone actually.

Been to the gym, at the command desk late - yeeee haaaww. Life's ok - especially since Hailey and Finbar are locking up. Whilst at the gym there was a segment on a morning show about the NSW Firies 2014 Calendar launch. I'm going to buy one, for no other reason than to support a worthy cause.... Mmmmmmm - hottie alert!!

                        Anyway, that is all.
It is not what we do, but how much love we put into the doing.
