Nicey, I'm trying to establish two key pieces of information.
      1. What is this state of hairy goatdom that you describe. It appears to change context.
      2. How the hell does a lovely person-age like yourself have so many TOTAL TOOLS residing around you and indeed, even in your dance class I think I should send you the fuck off earrings back, should I????? Sisterhood of the travelling fuck off earrings indeed?

Right I have had a somewhat draining day in some ways which I'll bore your arses off with tomorrow.

      Mwah Mwah Mwah gorgeous ones.

Oh Nicey, I.am.soooo.OVER that type. They're sooo shallow.

Thanks for the youtube idea, Missy. I'll look into it and although things have somewhat improved overnight, it does prepare me for what's to come. Today we'll have wheelchair try-outs. I'm as excited as a hairy goat.

Now Bridgee - start boring. We're ready.

Nicey I'm with Bridge on both counts. Please explain this hairy goat sitch.

Tawny a spot of shallowness doesn't bother me too much. If you like I could take your waxed, oiled, manicured, muscled men off your hands. Is there no end to my altruism?

I'll check with the H&S guys today to see if they have any good resources for solo manual handling.

Today's going to be a tad frantic, so best run. Hope you all have a good one. :h

            Morning Frog and y'all,

Frog, Aspy' suggestion of a block and tackle ain't too far from what occurs these days in hospitals i believe. Harness based lifting systems have been an adjunct, an adjunct i say to yer manual approach. Jonesy, Missy and other folk will no doubt have better insight into existing techniques than i do.

Hey Bridgey. What did you get up to yesty petal?

Noicey, i want to come to one of your dance classes and meet that bloke. He needs a reality check.

'Tis grand being a fella of leisure now really. Full time student (study load not huge/fast tracked course like Saff's aimed at those working in the field), and in a week or 2, tipping i'll be feeling a lot more chilled and relaxed, having ditched the weekday job, which included a 2hr round trip every day, not to mention the driving for the job. A timely outcome too, with my new website almost ready to go which will be a full time job almost. I've got the bucks to pay website builder with a bit left over, and Austudy should lkck in seamlessly i'm told. All in all team roo, feeling good here and there is a lot to be excited about, and so much possibility. The cool part is that i have control, and it's up to me. Noice. More over at www.itreallyisALLaboutme.com or follow me on twitter.

            Hey SaffSTAR!

            xpost. Morning Glassy!

            Have a pearer everyone.

                Howdy!

I've had a quick read back and have much to ponder.......

I'll be back shortly - so far I've managed to shelve 2.5 major disasters. Phew....for now.

I just wanted to give you all the heads up that today is indeed THURSDAY!!

                Salute to Mr G.

Now Sapphy, be sure to get your skinny bum back here and fill in the blanks for us. Sorry that it didn't work out with the fella, but much better to be alone than in a damaging relationship.

Mr G, that arrangement is sounding very 'right' to me for you at the moment. Well done you
You can always go back and work yourself to death at a later date. As can we all.

I worked for many years in the disability industry Glassy One. I have an insight into the kind of things that must surely be passing over your desk

Now I have just started a bit of a work project here and received a briefing. Admittedly all govt. departments are like hairy goats, especially now given change of govt and uncertainty re: continuation of funding.
But my Dog Undies, trying to get a straight answer re parameters of said project, objectives etc has been a mission to say the least. By last night I felt as drained as a dehydrated hairy goat turd. I did. Circular discussions with no clear resolution were never my forte. Still too much off the pragmatic, structured nurse in me.

SO that's my bitch for the week.

Quizzically, I have a date next week
I am as stunned as the rest of you.....

You are a super cool catch my friend. Enjoy yourself.

Well, I have a minute to either pee or write something here. Soooooo....

I hadn't thought much about the people surrounding me at the mo. I reckon it's the tilt of the earth - but then, some of them have been around a while. Which makes me then think why, and I've reasoned that they are out of necessity. So, I'll deal and not think too much about it. As for the TOOL at the dance, I just felt terribly sorry for him. He isn't at all attractive, he smells and can't dance, so I guess Lady Karma is already taking care of him for me so I won't think about him too much either. Therefore win, win situ for me. Yankers, tools and all other misfitters unite! I'm not giving them any energy at.all! I'll say over and over, "it is as it is", and I'll be just dandy.

As for the hair goat situ. I once saw a crazed hairy goat and always imagined how horrible the poor thing must have felt. Since then I've compared horrible situations or feelings to that hairy goat. Not really an explanation but hey, you get that some days.

Years ago I was part of the Random Acts of Kindness program with Karl Stef. Had a blast and we got to have a makeover done by some American dude who makes up the stars. So much girly fun. FFH sent a photo to me this morning from my makeover shoot. I'd forgotten all about those photos and entirely forgotten that I'd sent them to him. Nice memories of a fun filled day. Karl was noice and v.entertaining.

News of the day - my fav stockings are on sale so I bought 4 pairs!!!!!

Off to Wagga Wagga tomorrow for state titles. Wish I'd started training 4 months earlier. Going to dinner Fri night at 3 chefs. three chefs - Home

Went down to Jervis Bay yesterday afternoon to look at the ships. I'd love to be in Sydney to see them come in, even suggested to Mr Rags we not go to Wagga but he wouldn't be in it, so
I'll be watching ABC at 7:40 on Sat night instead (which is why we're going to dinner on Friday night).
