Well Undies, i'm sitting here typing in full candlelight, as being a humble student, i have no electricity anymore. But i WILL save Universe once qualified.
The much anticipated wedding will be in the middle, so there are a few other things happening around that, and then I'm off to Byron for a few days the next week.

Do you have your internet hooked up to your bicycle G, or have you invented candle powered puter power?

So, disappointing news, Fleetwood Mac have cancelled their Aussie tour (for which I had tickets & had been telling anyone who listened about how excited I was) One of the members is ill so a major downer on many levels.
But, I'm going to a fund raising dinner for Sea Shepherd at my friends restaurant, so that's my new 'look forward to' thing. I hope to mingle with some fellow whale lovers.

                  Morning team Roo,

A bit of stormy weather around. Batten down the hatches. But the sun shines here in me little heart.

                  Have a pearler out there.

                    Morning everyboddeeee.

That whale lover's event sounds the business, Cakes. I would have loved to see Fleetwood Mac too. One of the few bands I'd spend the money on these days.

Beans and rice Mr G? I used to go the three minute noodles myself as a student

                    Morning Aspy

                      Morning Jonesy,

Too much MSG etc. in those noodles from memory. Can you recommend a type of big saucepan to mass produce meals for the week/freezer? I hear aluminium is not healthy.

Mr G - go to Vinnies and look for a stock pot. Stainless steel if you can get it, or iron. Second hand shops have them in abundance - I bought one here last week for $5.

Morning lovelies! Go the stock pot Mr G, I think Missy is on the money try a few of the chain stores too but watch your metals. You could look for a slow cooker too if your at Vinnies, this time of year they seem to get the heave ho if people haven't been using them. Just a thought.

Off to be luvverly and chubberly, thanks for that Glassybum :H:h

                              Morning Missy, Glassy and Saucy,

Ok, thanks. The terminology i need to use is 'stock pot'. Got it. Stainless steel or iron. Got it. Yep, i'll try the usual Op shops. Thank you all!

P.S. Bridget. You might find this blast from the past entertaining.....I'm surprised we aren't mentioned. Too hardcore i suspect.

That clip is not adding to my work ethic today Mr G. Very interesting and definitely food for thought on the sociology of the time.

We're getting a storm Undies, and some rain. Hope it buckets down, we need it.
