We are trying it for the first time tonight. Will let you know the results in the morning!!
Hmmm, you could always go for the good old mozzie net rather than rub chemical stuff on yer skin.... just a suggestion.

Speaking of Indian cauliflower rice, remember the yappy dogs next door? Well, I introduced myself to my new neighbours and invited them to dinner. They are Indian, so there was NO way I was going to cook a curry. They are a lovely family, the sort of people you really really want as your neighbours.
Over dinner they said they were moving out at the end of October (tomorrow in fact) as they
had received a number of nasty anonymous letters re the dogs , which have been quiet as church mice for the past couple of months.
This will be quite expensive for them as they are cutting the lease short, have to incur moving costs again etc.
I suggested that perhaps racism could be behind it.
A shame, as they are both specialist medical people.
Am nipping into town in a bit to try to get a nice prezzie for them. Any ideas Undies?
She is going to teach me how to make dosa properly.
They are moving to a house not too far away and we said we'd like to keep in touch.

What about a nice herb or heirloom tomato? I really like herbs as presents.
        You're a nice neighbour Ragsy.
Dogs can drive a wedge into the heart of most neighbours, I know barking dogs are my pet hate. Ironic, considering what i do.

They told me they are not gardeners, however, what say I get a planter box and plant out some herbs for them? The kids can water them and watch them grow. Yeah, I reckon that might do it.
          Thanks Corrie.

The dogs were driving me to distraction for a while but I figured they're in a new place etc so give them time to settle.
One is a big alsation called Shadow. I call him Snowflake as he's a real softy..

See ewes later... off to Bunnings.

BTW after paying lots of money to the ortho yesty, he thinks it may be a neck problem as there's not too much wrong with my shoulder... a spur, some arthritis, a small tear, some swelling but nothing that would produce the pain I'm getting so he's contacting my doctor to get her to send me to a neuro surgeon... and the merry go round goes on... at least I'm paying for their children's education, or a new BMW or something... :H

When we went to training last night, in a lovely gesture some of the townsfolk came to the station with a big thankyou card for the firies for helping with the huge fires we've had the last 10 days.

Then after we'd done the truck maintenance, a bloke comes over asking the deputy captain directions to Kangaroo Valley.
            He'd lost his way (obviously)
So, the deputy told me and Mr Rags we could go home early and show him the way.
He'd have never have found it as he was a bit off track and didn't have a navman.
He was one of the miners laid off from Kalgoorlie last week.
I never thought to ask him why he wanted to get to KV. (I'm a sticky beak at heart).

Well undies i just need to vent for a bit. I am so ANXIOUS atm. Waking up close to panic every day, which exhaust me. Terrified of the future,of whether I've made the right decision to leave my marriage. Terrified of the financial un certainty. I know that it's because I've forgotten my meds for a few weeks, back on them now but it'll take a few weeks to get back up to good levels.
But it's so horrible to feel like this every day. I almost want to go back into hospital to get some stability back.
              There, I've said my piece.

Nice story about the piano,g bloke.
              Sorry guys.
Corri, mate :l is there anything - apart from being back on the meds - that will help relieve the anxiety until they kick in? Like your riding or walking, cooking?? anything? thinking of you, you've got a lot happening at the moment but take the time to breathe and not think on it. And, yes, I know I push it but what about meditation or yoga? Although I guess for you riding your horse is your best meditation. Just some thoughts...

All good thanks Rags. I've been making my own for some time, but the Prana stuff is the bees knees, best thing I've ever smelt or tasted. It looks like something you'd buy in Nimbin :H very textural...

A family member has shocking panic attacks and agoraphobia Corri. SHe always says it's worst first thing in them morning too, until she gets up and moving then it dissipates.
                      Horrible thing, anxiety.
Stay away from the coffee and stimulants if you can.

I reckon Bridge is spot on about the coffee Corri. And if getting bendy doesn't appeal, just try the low breathing techniques - so breathing from your belly and slowing the breath, matching inhalation and exhalation. Concentrate on your breathing. And also to relax, legs up the wall...go forth little grasshopper :H and you will do fine at work tomorrow too. No doubt here.
