My friend bought kudzu from MWO. It had an immediate effect on lessening cravings, but she started getting hives after a few days. Her face is swollen and her earlobes and cheeks are hot. What could this be?

Elizabeth, benadryl is an over the counter anitihistamine. That was my first reaction to relive her symptoms. Doctors sometimes use it to ease symptoms when people are having allergic reactions. Am I double speaking here? It's a mainstay in our house

This type of reaction sounds allergic. Allergies cause kill if the throat closes due to swelling. She may need EPI or something and should go to the Dr. immediately!
