Aww, bet she'll be pleased to see her Daddy, how old is she?

BTW if you can get to a TV a rehab/treatment centre I once stayed in is apparently on that awful show Jeremy Kyle, they are dealing with an 'Alcoholic Dad'. The programme could be cringeworthy and I'm confused because the centre was big on privacy and confidentiality so interested to see what they do with it. Probably only get a 5 min mention.

According to FB it's the new branch on the programme, not the actual one I stayed in (they only had one location when I stayed, up in Scotland).
I used the Sinclair Method to beat my alcoholic drinking.

Just caught first bit there Blondie- cant watch any more as hafta get going. What did see was bit cringeworthy and sorry to say but harassing an alcoholic in front of an audience and viewers to go into treatment is not the way methinks.

Oh blooming heck, why can't they flipping do something right. I've been in rehabs with people (not that one) who were 'put' there by relatives, and also heard all sorts of tales. Bloody dangerous if you ask me. Sure it might give em a chance to want to change, but it's a long flipping chance and a bit of a waste of money if they don't grab it.

I love people who make me laugh. I honestly think it's the thing I like most, to laugh. It cures a multitude of ills. It's probably the most important thing in a person.

I study the bsc honors in psychology and counselling, so finishing that is my first goal

and getting onto the clinical phd is my second goal, with maybe an MSc in research methods inbetween the bsc and phd

I have a lot of experience employment wise ranging from person centred counselling, forensic children, autism and learning disablities, older people and working alongside psychologists, i specialise in supporting people with personality disorders , and i regularly attend psychology lead meetings with 4 psychologists and i work with one psychologist in his session with a young schizophrenic female in forensic services due to the fact she engages better in the psychological process if I am there. I was also a psychological research assistant and i have my first publication soon. I also do a lot of work in self harm and suicide prevention

Just seen this posted on FB, seems the show was filmed a while back and the guy is now 3 months sober.

Abbeycare performs intervention on ITV?€™s Jeremy Kyle Show - Alcohol Treatment Programme, Residential Rehab, Alcoholism, Abbeycare Foundation

Seems it did work, and well done to the bloke.
