    FEARS

    1) fear of being alone
    2) Fear of alcohol (YUP) and loss of control
    3) Fear of fear
    4) Fear of my own thoughts
    5) Fear of not being in control of my own body/impulses
    6) Fear of failure
    7) Fear of not being good enough
    8) Fear of anxiety/panic
    9) Fear of never being "normal" (I know, what IS normal? I don't know either - maybe the topic of another day)
    10) Fear of disappointing those I love.

Hmmm, I would have to keep thinking but these are the first that come off of the too of my head.

By the way, in case anyone is wondering why I randomly wrote my fears, see the post below under "motivational quotes". LOL!

      FEARS

Jen, Here's the original "Footprints in the Sand" by Mary Stevenson...perhaps we can apply this to the men and women here on MWO who continue to support us in the same invisible way..:d

      Footprints in the Sand

One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord. Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky.

In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand. Sometimes there were two sets of footprints, other times there was one only.

This bothered me because I noticed that during the low periods of my life, when I was suffering from anguish, sorrow or defeat, I could see only one set of footprints, so I said to the Lord,

      ?You promised me Lord,
that if I followed you, you would walk with me always. But I have noticed that during the most trying periods of my life there has only been one set of footprints in the sand. Why, when I needed you most, have you not been there for me??

The Lord replied, ?The years when you have seen only one set of footprints, my child, is when I carried you.?

Jenneh...I can relate so much! Remind yourself...fear is the opposite of faith. You are so worthy of faith. Your posts exude faith and promise. Let's have faith in ourselves, mankind, and a higher power. It'll get us thru the rough spots!! Gina
