Molls did yer see my post about the poor rescued chooks. Really got upset about the poor feckers. Farmer was about to kill them - a normal event apparently.
This group swoops in and rescues them .... advertise for homes & they can be collected.
But there is a happy ending ...
They stayed in huddles for weeks when she got them - then one renegade chook - took off out into the yard and laid an egg ..... so one by one they ventured out.
I was the proud receipient of that first egg inkele:
NEVER eating eggs again unless I know where they come from !!

morning all, supposed to be doing reading for a lecture in an hour, so naturally i'm avoiding it like the plague - one problem with art texts, they don't seem able to just get to the bloody point had a good week, first band practice wednesday, way too much work to do but a long weekend as i'm blood testing on monday. off now for more coffee, hope everyones well, haven't had chance to catch up with ya'll yet

Yo and good morning Zenny, Mr T, Mollymoo, Dr Satzensweatybrau :H, Incheroo, Our Jacs and all to come.

Back from early marning run. Gonna be getting ready today for the long drive down to our Whizzy tomorrow :yay:

Latest noos: have had to apply to do what is known in Auld Scotia as "intermediate 2 maths" (kinda like the upper end of GCSE methinks, or between GCSE and A Level). I need this if I am to apply for primary teaching... i thought that having worked in primary schools and in arts education for the past 12 years, not to mention teaching all that time, including the last 3 years in the formal education sector at me pawsh skool, that they may have waved the fact that I didn;t quite make the grade in maths when i was at skool. Alas... no.

So i applies and sees if i can do it, pass it and then yay bob's yer uncle, fannies yer aunt, I will at least have the qualifications to do the PGDE.... though they still may not accept me. :no:

Anyone done Pilates here? (did I ask that earlier in the week and yiv replied and i am merely showing signs, therefore, of early onset dementia? :H
