Oh excitement chez Satz this morninginkele:
- managed to use young Satz's homecoming for Christmas to get Mr S to fork out for major painting work. :yay:
Cheap too - compared to last time which was in the height of the 'boom' here in Ireland ....... when, along with paying MEGA bucks .... you had to sleep with a painter to get the job done ..... or at least provide 4 course dinner each day as part of the package.
THEY would interview YOU to see if you were suitable

maybe Mr S was snoring so bad she has had to take Sat off to sleep and recover
maybe she is painting a room
cos its cheaper if you do it yourself
not sleep with the painter and decorator
you'd get paint all o'er yerself!

Gonna head in a couple of hours - about lunchtime - get to whizzy's about 7.

Race is at 9am.... don't think it's on the telly, but if you goggle MBNA Chester Marathon... and check their website their may be a thingy whereby you can follow us runners - just put our real names in.

Pool duty in full swing after a rather expensive visit to the hardware store for a range of chemicals. The toxic sludge has started changing colour and interesting phenomena can be observed. It feels like I'm back in science class (which I sucked at).

Poolside reflection of the day: we should return to the days of enjoying a swim in the dam on our grandfather's farm. A cement-lined hole in the ground in suburbia is not the same.
