Good morning Army

I'm certainly well-rested. Fell asleep at around 9 and only woke up almost 11 hours later.

Some rainshowers overnight and light rain at the moment, but nothing like our usual wi ter downpours. Nothing much planned other than the weekly shop and fetching mum from the airport.

Mr JC's orff to the cop shop (he's on dooty 'til 9pm). 77 year old shoplifter. Seems more and more of our older folk are getting into nabbing a few groceries.....it's being called the Heat or Meat syndrome..............very sad.

OAPs here are very vulnerable here too. And they often have to support many family members too.

I never got round to doing the shopping. It can wait till tomorrow. I'm off to to the airport soon. Think I'll go early and indulge in a latte.

Turned out he'd forgotten his medication and lifted a jar of coffee. Mind Mr JC was gone so long I was beginning to worry he might have a serial killer on his hands.

It's amazing how quick the shopping gets done when there's an England match on TV.

Well I thought I was going to have an extremely boring morning but I've ackshully managed to do some cooking for the freezer.

Spag bol, meatballs, Moroccan chicken. Made a rhubarb sponge for pudding to night.

Oh and I managed to stand in the dog's water dish, me slippers are all wet.
