I thought about you today when I went to a luncheon w/my women friends. The hostess broke out some very nice wines. It was very, very tempting, but I had diet soda instead. After a while, the craving passed, although I watched very carefully how other people drank. They sipped one drink, & even left some in the glass at the end of the lunch. I realized that I could never have done that. I would have had to force myself to keep the wines to 2 only. Then I would have stopped at the liquor store to get a bottle for myself to consume all afternoon & evening. That would have started me on a multi-day binge. On the way home from the luncheon, I remembered your post & how you were tempted after 80 days & resisted. Thank you.

Sometimes I do not want to share a victory cause I do not want pride to get in the way of everything or sound like I'm something (toot ones own horn) cause the Lord knows how weak and nothing I am without his strength... but then I am grateful that something I share helped you too...
