I called my mom and bit$hed..all the way from France to Canada! I'm going to pop in some Friends and listen and watch that while I clean.. I've been cursing till I told you all. I wish my hubby was here, I would just throw in the towel and jump into bed... la da da da da..

I must admit, I was trying not to laugh as I was reading what happened. It's the sort of thing thta is funny to read but in reality is a nightmare.... Ohhhh especially after you'd done all that cleaning.

Still... I know you won't even touch that bottle of red... you are strong!

That just totally sucks- cleaning just sucks ass anyway- to have it blow up in your face literally is like getting slapped. Can you get a cleaning person in? You shouldn't have to do that twice.

I am so sorry GG the other day I couldn't get open a jar of spaghetti sauce- My kitchen is right next to my daughter's room where she was sleeping. i wanted to bang the jar a bit but did not want to wake her so I brought the jar into my living room and I banged it on my coffee table. then I braced hard to open it and the whole jar of sauce ended up on my beautiful oriental rug . It did not come out. I am gonna have to call someone. All because of some stupid spaghetti sauce. I was so upset after scrubbing for an hour nobody had dinner that night. I was abs too and did not drink that night (but I do think it caught up with me a day or two after to be honest). Dump that bottle of red!!! :h

Oh and definitely cry, cry a lot. and then do what everyone else said- laugh it off. It will seem funny someday.

This reminded me of the time I was making strawberry milkshake for my then 2 year old son who was sitting in his high chair watching me. He helped me cut up the strawberries, pour in the milk, plop the ice-cream in.... he was so excited!!!!

I switched the blender on and, I swear it was like a poltergeist experience.... the lid flew off.... the whole milk shake took on a body of it's own .... it did not separate until it had positioned itself square above my son's head and then.....SPLAT.

At least he was washable.

I was up late cleaning it. I dumped the wine, I could not take it..I shed a tear as it went down the drain but the temptation was giving me white knuckles.

Oh my god... how good are you!!! I am doing the biggest happy dance for you GG! Now THAT is bloody good stuff!

I was walking past a cafe today where some women were sipping wine with lunch. I had a sudden pang for a glass of wine (or bottle... or 2) and instantly remembered where I'm at with everything. It's all good... I'm trying to eat really well at the moment too so my body must be in such shock. lol

You are doing awesome Doo! I am so proud of you too! They all drink wine here, all the time and everywhere. It is hard walking by seeing everyone enjoying their meal with their glasses of wine or beer, and they share a bottle at lunch time too and go back to work. They get 2 hour lunch breaks here as well.

That was the hardest moment.

I almost took a glass. I was thinking "a little tiny glass won't matter..., who is going to know???" Or, maybe just a sip, a sip will be OK. I had my sushi! Yummy. I ate enough for two but I loved every moment of it and the wasabi made my eyes water. Good stuff!
