And I agree, no dying so you can have your friend's song at yours!!
Lushy.... I love the version by Isreal Kamakawiwo'ole, and I agree, not my Favorite song, but they way he does it... I have even told my hubby, it should be on the "playlist" when that day comes... I will seek out your version and give it a listen!

Yes, that is an excellent version as well. Hope you can hear Eva's version sometime. She is an amazing singer who died at the age of 36 from melanoma. So sad because she was such a talent.

And might I say that I am impressed you spelled that guy's name correctly!

        Ahh here it is....

This is a little slower version than her album version (like the album version better) but this is great.

Lushy- It is BEAUTIFUL! Thanks... I have added it as a favorite and looking for it on I-Tunes at the moment. I think it's on the Soundtrack from the movie Alpha Dog.

Yes, IZ's name is one thing to spell correctly... pronouncing it correctly is even harder! Since I have devoted my latter life to the spririt of Hula.... I think only fitting. There are a few other other Hawaiian Songs that will also make the playlist, for sure.

I have been to a few funerals in the last few years, and I have to say, as much as I do like Sarah McLachlan's 'I Will Remember You'.... it's been over played at such events and now when I hear it on the radio, I have to change the station, or instant meltdown on the highway.
