sittin on the porch swingin...literally...swingin
still wave at my neighbors and strangers passing by in a car
my kids say yes ma'am when i ask a question and no sir to their daddy
they call my best friend mrs lenora and her husband mr robert
we still have bbq with friends and family...you best believe it

Nancy, my road is still gravel, I have my teeth. I hate Wal-mart (for political reasons) But I love being Southern. Have you ever had fried chicken for Sunday Morning breakfast? Or those eat all day family reunions ?Creamed white corn and cucumber salad with onions shuck beans. It all great. lets tost it with a moon pie and a RC cola

My driveway is gravel too and my pond is full of catfish! They come up when I step on the pier...

Ohhh.y'all have made me sooo lonesome for *home*. I haven't been able to live in the south for many years-dh's job, but sure do miss it. Dinner on the grounds...the baptist bird lol, fried okra, meat and 3 plates....I'm droolin again! I miss the way the air feels soft, especially on summer evenings, the smells in the air...it must be time for a home visit. I go every summer, but I don't have one scheduled yet. I reckon i better get that done!
