I found a new friend this morning...doc gave me Topamax....she was very kind. I was nervous at first as she asked lots of questions about MWO...thought she was thinking I was a nut for buying an internet program. I explained I had researched, etc...and told her what my profession is (medical field). Also, told her the reason I came to her was to be monitored, I could easily have ordered this over the interent, but felt more secure doing it while being monitored. So here I go....30 days I am gonna get ya!!!

That is great! The Topa has helped me tremendously. Please go to the section on these boards about Topa and other drugs. Good Luck on the topa. There is alot of information here about all the side effects. It helped me tremdously at first. Great weight loss pill too!!! Glad you had a supportive doctor, that is always the hardest thing.

I have read, read, and read...almost read so much I scared myself out of it, but changed my mind. I am doing it....thnaks everyone for the support and advise...when di you start to feel the side effects? What dosage? I am doing the dosage exactly as outlined...25 mg intervals moving up....Comment

I found that if I was trying to be AF and generally was, the topa helped me at quite a low dose - my cravings were mostly gone at about 50-75 mg. When I was taking topa, I was actively trying to be AF so my experiences might not be that typical. It was really helpful though, so I am glad that you were successful in getting it!
