*drools* lol - I'm just having a nightmare with me eldest son who wants a phone for Xmas - ?300 quid !! He just doesn't get it !! When I say no - he says why ? Errr hello !! Aaahhh - the C word ---- ok --- allowed.... usually try to wait till after halloween --- mmm -- well -- I hoisted myself on my own petard with the kids christmas wise, each year got bigger and bigger and grew into a monster --- thankfully the kids grew as well, so by now, with my youngest 19, we are able to say 'nope, small gifts all round (Joey still gets a weeeee bit more --- well, he IS the baby!!!!)' -- and then if the kids decide to spend too much on us ---- GRAND:H But seriously --- it IS tough --- and I think you just have to stick to your guns if you can't afford it..... very fuckin hard tho --- sorta glad our seriously money challenged days didn't arrive till they were mostly reared
