    Make Me Sleep

    anyone got anything to make me sleep...i am wide awake i have to be up at 7 for work and it is 2:47 now! i just can't sleep i'm not even tired...

    any suggestions? i know what used to be the answer to me not sleeping and it would put me out like a light but i would rather not resort to that...

    Hi:

    I am a terrible sleeper with or wo/drink. When I drink, I usually get the sweats & wake up a lot during the night, so I haven't been going there. I take Melatonin (you can get it almost anywhere: drugstore, health food store). I also take an over-the-counter sleep aid. It leaves me feeling kind of groggy the next day, but it eventually makes me sleep. I also do what you just did. Turn on the computer & go to MWO website. Good luck.

      lol not really left the computer all night...been watching Bad Girls on YouTube.com...i wish i had pills to make me sleep but unfourtunately i have no pills at all like that in the house...

        If you want to go the natural way you can use Melatonin about 30 minutes before bedime or Valerian an hour before bedtime. You can get them at any vitamin store and the valerian really works well for me.

          update: i ended up sleeping for two hours...so i will probably come home and crash tonight.

              Try going for a walk or doing some exercise in the evening.

              I personally wouldn't suggest taking any over the counter sleeping pills as long term they can make things worse, but I am all for trying alternatives from health shops like calm sleep.

              Everyone is different and initally when you do stop drinking it can interfere with your sleep pattern. Hopefully it will settle and when you wake up bursting with energy you will know it was worth it.
