Morning all - off to see the little one at her All Saints Pageant. She is playing St. Katharine Drexel, who was from our area. She looks adorable. Off to work after the pageant. WIsh I could stay home and just be independently wealthy.
Happy Wednesday

Insurance etc sorted? Your old self again?
Were you close to the fun & games in town today?
Insurance all sorted, yes. Long queue at the Mowbray police station (closest to where it happened), but that done as well. We'll know how much they'll pay out by Friday - they're scrapping the car.
My office is on Thibault Square, about a block from where the commotion was, so I got out of the city by driving towards the CTICC and then onto the N1. I did leave early, though.
Do you have any form of commute or are you one of the lucky ones?I'll do whatever it takes

Oh goody, Mrs T's going to do some serious shopping. Hope you get a decent payout.
No, I'm a lucky work-from-homer. And the village is very walk-friendly, so the poor car hardly see daylight in summer.14 October 2013 was the first day of the best days of my life!

I'm hoping for a decent payout too... ***assumes beseeching position on knees*** We weren't planning on having car installments in the next year or two because of the renovations we want to do on the house and getting my mum's granny flat sorted. We'll just need to do some careful budgeting, I guess.
What kind of work do you do, if you don't mind me asking? (Reccie is normally the curious one, but I'll stand in for him).I'll do whatever it takes

And apologies for the delayed response - got suckered into helping the youngest cub to prepare an oral on hunting as a sport. I had enough fodder, mind you: my dickhead of a brother has turned into a trophy hunter now that he can afford it. I draw the line at hunting for the "pot".I'll do whatever it takes
