      Tip,

I've been really busy with work over the last week, and missed a whole lot of things, including your anniversary. But big congratulations to you and hope that things continue to go in an onwards and upwards trajectory:yougo: :l:yougo:

And :hallo: :hallo: to the rest of the Army

Today is the firstday of Winterin these parts

Between the Fall Equinox and Midwinter lies November 1, the first day of winter.

We've done well to get this far with relatively good weather :yay:
That's as positive as I can get this hour of the feckin' morning.

Satz, see the last couple of posts: I thought it was quite sweet

            https://www.mywayout.org/community/f9...-af-78975.html

OK, in a much much better better mood than earlier this morning, but it's still raining. Can't get used to this weather - and when is summer? No, actually the rain is lovely . Thought I might chuck all my camping stuff in the car today and find a nice seaside camp site, but the Weather Bureau has promised leaky skies for the weekend. Maybe the next one.

Tips, enjoy working in a nice hotel for a change (doesn't that sound as if you're a lady of easy virtue who normally has to put up with rooms by the half hour?). Spice shops: I'll keep on looking, but thanks for the info.

Saw white rabbits mentioned twice here today - had to Google it eventually. So we lives, so we learns...

                      Morning our Whizzy,

I'm grand, Molls. Looking forward to going into town with my Aunt and having a bit of a mooch round and a spot of lunch.

Bless her heart she's finding it so hard loosing her husband. I keep trying to tell her there's no time limit on grief. They were married a month short of 50 years and together since they were 13.

Aye you're right, there's times I'd like to poke Mr JC in the eye with a hot spoon but I'm getting used to him being around.

Yer right ladies - Mr S drives me demented sometimes.
Not so much since I gave up the grog - not so many dramas any more ...
On the odd occasion I think of life without him --- I have to stop 'cos it would be so unheard of to have one without the other:upset:
                              We are together 37 years.
Thanks for making me think of that today - as I was 'giving out' yards :bat: about him in my head earlier :H
