FROGLETTE! glad you're back. How bizarre just typed a diatribe of an essay and was thinking of you whilst doing it...and then you pop up mentioning diatribes...the universe is a weird thing isn't it?

Yo Happs, and back atcha.
Corrie - I kind of agree with the others ... tread slowly. I also seem to recall that you were terribly unhappy at the farm. Give the solo living a chance and then make up your mind.
I reckon by now Glassy will have had her big cry ... bet she looks stunning but.
Techster - update on the mince pies required.

Arvo all,
Great to see you Frog.
Yo Techie! Good to hear you're well.
Have a beeewdy Glassy!
Bugger that fox Happs!
Cozza. Hope you're feeling a bit better this arvo. I remember you saying you were very lonely at the farm too. So much so that on a few occassions, you took extreme measures. Best wishes with whatever you decide to do. Thinking of you.
Well Rooter's, my job's safe. I read the letter awaiting me at work this morning and let orf with a warning that next time it's curtains, curtains i tell's ya's. I'm grateful, but they are still bloody eeedgit's. Yeehaw! Partay time wit some choc mud cakecake.
Missy, you may need to change your bike stand to the other side of the bike to be legal in Australia. Big fines they reckon if caught. Sounds ridiculous i know. Just a heads up mate.
Hope all the hot sheila's are wet, cool, and happy.
L8tr, Yo!

Corrie - don't think about this in any way as being a mistake. I agree with others - give yourself some time to properly assess whether the choice you have made for now is the right one or not. If it happens that you choose to go back, then at least you've made the decision having being fully informed and realistic about the alternatives and the trade offs.
And keep talking to us, whether on the boards or through PMs - isolation is a killer and right now you need to feel connected :l
Have been thinking about Glassy all day as I'm sure others did. Hope she felt us all on her shoulder
Bike ride ??. went out on a trial run on my own without Mr B. Chain came off within about 30 seconds, and needed adjustments to the derailleur. Set off again and realized that my leg muscles have lost lots of condition, and my seat needs adjustment. Did about 30 mins in 31 degrees before I felt like I was going to faint. So it was back home, put a moratorium on any further bike riding today and a stern talk to myself about making some serious improvements in my fitness even when it hurts!

Introduced fauna and flora are a scourge on both our countries. Quite close to where we live, the Council is trying to restore some native wetlands and they are going to be beautiful when they are finished.
Tawny - handling shit you've never had to deal with any more is a great achievement. Particularly when it is that life and death and loss and anguish stuff. What doesn't kill ya makes ya stronger and all of that. Hope you are proud of yourself. :l
Help yourself to the contents of our fridge, courtesy of the local market! we have Queensland mangoes, pineapples, some very nice French Brie and some Dutch Maasdam, some fig and fennel paste, and asparagus. Lots of tomatoes but they are just hot-house ones and not much flavor. But please leave the pork belly as Mr B has plans for that tomorrow
On Angel's testamentary evidence of having become a convert to meditation, I've booked myself in to an introductory class on Monday. I grew up Catholic, so am not unfamiliar with the concept of silent reflection, but I just can't find a way to embed it into my life.
In the spare time I had this afternoon after I decided that another bike ride would most likely kill me I went to Tarjay and bought a dress to hang around the house in. I don't think I've owned a dress for over a decade. :H It is definitely cooler than jeans, which are my normal garb.
That's enough of a missive for me for one night! Mwah!Never give up, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn

Throwing the ball for Rose and old dog Jade, i now understand about persistence. And also why these dogs are called RETRIEVERS . I love them to pieces.
