      Oh dear.
That's why you don't cross post and run.

Couldn't help a few tears splurting out, but there's a lot of joy in that story Froglette. I somewhat throb you.

      In the fridge will be:
      Muhammara
      Green Olive Tapanade
      Caramelised Onions
      Beetroot Dip
      Home Made Hommus
      Some of Happ's Kitchari.

I am having a girl's weekend away this weekend and thought I might expend some energy making dips and comestibles to take.

I also picked up a couple of bottles of 'grog free grog' from Woollies, which I've never tried before. One is faux bubbles, and another faux shiraz. I'm sure it will taste vile, but I'll be interested to see if I might use it for cooking in future. I want to put it on the table and watch them get pissed on it.:H
If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

Off to Wingello in an hour or so to learn how to fight fires.
The "Wingalots" are having a dinner at one of the houses this Friday.. I'm making rice paper rolls and Mr Rags is making a salmon roulade.
        Others are making
        a cheese platter,
Cheese & Spinach Cobb & Bread Sticks,
        Spring Rolls,
Roast Lamb, Chicken, Vegetables & Mediterranean Vegetables
        Surprise Dessert!!
        Pavlova Roll
and two others are bringing along a surprise.
        Should be a fun evening.

Oops, almost a cross post there Bridge.
          We'll have to compare dinners.

I have cheated a bit.... went to Atom Thai last night and asked them if I could have some of their
fanbloodytastic sweet chilli sauce to take home. That will be my peas der rzist ants for the rice paper rolls.

Went to the Olympic Range to-day. That's how close the Elizabeth Drive fire got to it.

Can't remember if I put this up before. You have to ask why, unless you're going on a trip across the Simpson Desert. (even then I'd take real googy eggs).

Happy - did you see my question on what is the best time to do yoga? My (1983) book says first thing in the morning or about 4pm having not had food for at least an hour. Any thoughts?

Whenever it works best for you in my honest opinion. The general thoughts are at sunrise for an active practice or if you want to have your practice in the evening make this one a more relaxing one, or yoga nidra - which is blissful relaxation. Sometimes I'll do some energising yoga before lunch so I get digestion going. I tend to do my practice according to how I feel. And it just doesn't feel good with food in your tummy at any time, for me anyway.

This would be a good approximation I think.
