      Sorry,

      Is this not the second time this week that my Ducky friend has been in danger? First, Irish lady with her little lime head was aiming for the little Duck. Now - a violent lizard is after our feathered friend? Oh, you must do whatever you need to Ducky. You will survive ... make that lizard walk out the door ... he's not welcome anymore.

        Lizard came to visit yesterday. I do not think I am going to do anything to him right now so you can remove yourself from the edge of your seat. I will send an update as one develops but remember, I am trying to wish it away. I feel like Scarlett right now!

                  I slept just fine last night with lizzie in the house.

                  And yes Pansy, I am getting a bit of a complex that there are sooo many violent types on this site that have issues with cute little innocent duckies. What is their problem???

                    Thanks Ducky, I really got to get this thing undone. Just remember they are vertical climbers. My mom thought she saw a snake in the basement once. That's what the removal guy said.

                      I am not sure. People must be jealous of your avatar stash. If you can sleep with lizzie and are not worried that Tom will get it, then for sure take a rest. Lizzie will not get you ... with its lizzie tongue ... slither slither.

                            Duck, some further information.

                            Once you've captured your lizard, his tail may fall off. It's nothing you will have done - it's purely a defense mechanism. Should this occur, the following may be helpful:[list type=decimal][*]Soak the lizard in warmish chest deep water to which Betadine (povidone-iodine) has been added to color the water to a deep medium tea color. Leave in the tub for 15-20 minutes, refreshing the warm water as necessary. Note that if the reptile defecates in the tub, it must be washed out, disinfected and another Betadine soak set up.[*]Remove the reptile from the tub and flush the wound with straight Betadine.At night, put triple antibiotic ointment on the stump. Repeat for a week or until the wound is healing over.If there is any sign of swelling at the end of the stump or just above it which does not abate after a week, the lizard should be seen by an experienced reptile vet.[/list type=decimal]See? Nothing to be alarmed about.
