I'm a woman of few words.

Gawd I still remember the snidiest remark Mr JC ever said to me was if I carried on drinking like I was I'd have to move in with me mother (it wasn't spoken in jest either) and you know how much me and my mother 'adored' and 'loved' each other. Should have scared me straight but guess what ...............it didn't.

Actually my first AF Chrimbo this time round the block was easy-peasy-lemon-squeezy.

The S&H was so hung over the thought of drinking again made him go green, the luvverly Jenz had a chest infection and Mr JC was on call Chrimbo night.

Guess who'll be on here A LOT over Christmas.

Funny thing is I don't want to drink. The idea of it does not make me happy like it used to I have to say!
I feel so STRONG when I say -I'll drive or Soda Water please.

There will be a lot of home drinking - I suppose that is dangerous - S&H loves to drink wine at home -wonder where he got that from :Hsince his poor student days - he's not really a pub person.
Careful with his money always.

Without a doubt I could be that again in a few months - no bother ..... constant battle to eat right things.

There's a (non-charity) second hand shop in Skerries --- they also have lots of unworn stuff - sort of thing you're talking about --- I think it's a brilliant idea --- there is soooo much wasted - I have a black dress I bought back when I was losing weight -- bought it a size too big for me --- still sitting tags an all in the cupboard.... MAD!!!

Methinks I am still in celtic tiger mode.
I remember in the 80s buying loads of stuff in second hand shops.
My sis is ALWAYS getting bargains in them ! Really good designer clothes.
Why don't you bring your dress to them to sell for you ?.

Just had a lovely few minutes with Auld Queenie at the Centotaph. Makes me blubb every single year. So glad that my Dad managed to get down there one year many moons ago.
