LOL Mollers... I'm a wee bit confuddled meself. I was trying to read back on the thread, respond, and get everything posted before yer wan indoors returned to invade my peace! (I didn't manage it incidentally!)

The Agnes Browne movie is the one with Angelica Heuston, filmed in Dubbers, her husbo and bestest mate dies and it is a bitter-sweet kind of movie where she's bringing up the 7 kids on her own but never looses her sense of humour. (Well... that's my take on it of course...) ;o)

The pitchur... the square cat pic above the window is one Jackie sent to me. I meant to post a pic to show her where it's been living and it just got away from me. I'm much better at taking pix since I got the S4.

Ah yep, I can see that all right Mollers. Prolly around the time I was getting 14% on a simple savings account in the Isle of Man. MAD times as you say... and I was too young and dumb to read the writing on the wall. If it ever comes around again in my lifetime I will be ready for "crashes" in all their shapes and forms... but for the time being I will remain suitably humbled and feeling totally idiotic after the way I (DIDN'T) handle same...

Feckin portfolios. Gah! Makes me want to scream! The bankers were evil and I was an eejit... end of story.

Going to Oman first they have servants there. After all the martyr stuff this year I thought I should change the dynamics.
