Iffy weather today, with a fairly severe storm accompanied by gale force winds expected later today. All OK though, since this is POETS day after all.

Think I should have another coffee. Booze consumption down to less than nothing, coffee up 75% (I think - figures don't make any sense to me)

No POETS for me unfortunately MrT another long day in the work house( Did I ever tell yis I detest Fridays in work? Docs always decide to discharge folk- things never run smooth in trying to arrange those discharges and then bed managers hoist a new patient up to us before the other patient leaves meaning no effing beds!! Oh heck can feel the stress levels rise just thinking off it:upset:

Thanks for the cuppa Dreamy:l Will be needing a few alright! Funny you mention consumption..... my intake of coffee has at least doubled since quitting- just cant seem to get enough of the stuff!

Morning army and to the rest to come. Still dark and very cold. On my 2nd coffee. My coffee consumption has definatly gone up and so has my sweet tooth and my muffin top and bingo wings (flabby upper arms) so need to do more exercise and try tone up. I'm off to Wexford today until sunday afternoon. I'm staying in a nice hotel at a bargain price. I'm not taking the laptop and not sure of internet access where i'm staying so i'll check in if I can if not have a nice weekend and i'll check in sunday evening some time. :wavin::woot:

a wee bit stressed here, we have a presentation due in for university today and one of my group has still not done the work. He's my good friend but I amso angry at him as he could ruin my chance of a good grade. The teacher knows so hopefully she will give us an extension and I 'm at work all day today, so the presentation is in his hands, I have finished al my work and most of his , he has literally done hardly anything

It's Feckin Freezing Friday in this corner of the world. Still no boiler. Stayed home all day yesterday for the manufacturer's engineer who didn't show, so got to do the same again on Monday.

Fence sitters indeed! I would say we are "mature and evolved ladies with higher pursuits on our minds these days". And apart from anything else, I can't go wading in without Oners as we worked as a team! :H

I'm awake at silly o'clock. Part of it is trying to get off the stupid painkillers (against Doc's orders but the Doc doesn't know about addiction now, does he?) and part of it is wondering what my gal pal will think after not seeing me since the late 90's! Yes, guys, us women still do worry about shit like that!

Anyway, I cleaned like a demon after doing nowt for over a week and Kenny painted all the noticeable skirting boards that are left to be done and yer wan indoors caulked the spare bathroom so... ready as I'll ever be!

It'll be lovely and I'm not sure why I'm worrying really. I'm going to make the infamous Zenners crab cakes and I have a noice cheese selection with grapes and I even bought 7 grain bread against all carb warnings and I might make a cheese fondue. I'm going to check Costco to see if they have Alaskan King Crab or lobster tails tomorrow... it'll be a seafood feast one way or t'other as there's a fish shop (pricey tho) up the road. I might run up there and get some stone crab anyhoo, even if Costco comes through.

All one does in the yachting industry is serve other people and it's really nice to have someone serve you for a change so that's why I'm being such a fuss bucket. Plus she's married to a Chef and one can't let the side down now, can one?

Tipps... have a lekker POETS day! And a good lunch!

Pinky... as long as the teacher that gave you the assignment knows the scoop you should be OK? Fingers crossed for ya...
