    Army thread Sunday 17 November

    GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD morning Army!

Couldn't get the internetwebbythingy going for ages!

Everybody happy and healthy? Another grey wet day here. Not many plans for the day - read the paper & see what the volk (nation) is thinking. Might make a fire, put a chicken on. Strange thing about last night's wanting to sit at the fire with a glass of red: I made a huge pot of spag bol, went to the wine shop to get some wine for it, and didn't want to drink any - but I really wanted to sit at the fire with a glass.

JC, wonderful news about aunt and Ella - but then, we all knew that was going to happen from the start, didn't we; very few people can resist an animal, esp. one with Ella's background.

Oh, almost forgot: :cupajoe: :cupajoe: :cupajoe:
14 October 2013 was the first day of the best days of my life!

Good morning Dreamster and all to come

Dankie vir die boeretroos (spell checker suggested beret rooms instead - why the hell would anyone have a room dedicated to berets? Unless you're Julius Malema. Ovaries: JM is a local politician whose party members wear red berets. But that's an aside).

Weather pretty much the same this side of the mountain, just much gentler rain than yesterday. I'm mulling over what to make for lunch (if anything). We might decide to go and grab something to eat in town, if only to get the cubs out of the house. Between crappy weather and preparing for exams, they have cabin fever.

JC, I'm sure Ella is going to be the best thing ever for your aunt :l

    Have a lekker Sunday, folksies.
    I'll do whatever it takes

Dreamy: meet Tawny (also affectionately known as Froglet). She's a cantankerous old biddy from Down Under. Or she pretends that she is (cantankerous, that is, not from Down Under). She has clavicles to die for and is known to wear a pink frock from time to time. She's a dab hand at using spurtles, amongst other things.

A really Down-Underer visiting, lovely! Thanks for the intro Tips, but I do visit the really crazy lot to see what they're up to (perhaps it should be what they're down to). Didn't know about the clavicles, though (how do you, BTW?), of the pink frock or the spurtles. Didn't know about spurtles, either, until uncle Google enlightened me. (The spellchecker is equally clueless about spurtles.)

                      Sweetiepeapie - morning!

Or we could just not neuter the dogs - other ones, not nice Ella - but turn them into sports models.:H

There's a man with a weed-eater in my back garden, aka the jungle. If he gets lost in there, he's doomed. Waiting for calls from the neighbours re disturbing the Sunday peace. I'll just take them on a safari - that should shut them up.

                      Later!

I was allowed to share a space with one of her cats at the foot of her bed once. I even received a pat on the head. A momentous occasion I tell you. Momentous.

                          Morning guys
I love people who make me laugh. I honestly think it's the thing I like most, to laugh. It cures a multitude of ills. It's probably the most important thing in a person.

Morning Pink! Gosh, but you're talkative this morning. Have a :cupajoe:

Aah, foot of her bed, pat on the head - things are crystal clear now.

The sun is trying to break through the clouds - hope it wins.
