Dreamydoo, it was Mollymoo the Wise Woman on about balsamic vinegar.
Funnily enough for a pure bred alkie never used alcohol in cooking apart from a couple of slugs of brandy in French onion soup.It could be worse, I could be filing.

We did actually have a decent summer this year for once Dreamy, but it's mid November now so the sun is a rare and welcome sight. There was frost this morning but I slept through it.Never been to Glasgow, but I wouldn't waste any time in looking for a bikini!

Wasn't bad at all the summer, was it?
Beaut morning here just over the border. Fecking freezing but bright and sunny.
Just given meself near frostbite trying to find a bag of apples in the freezer. I'll bet Mr JC finds it within seconds.It could be worse, I could be filing.

Dreamy: I've always thought that a potjie is more effort than it's worth. I like eating it when made properly - it shouldn't be stew (except for something like waterblommetjies, naturally). We prefer a good old Braai with trimmings.
No taking the family out for lunch. By the time the cubs woke up it was more appropriate to have a quick brunch. They both say they're studying now.I'll do whatever it takes
