Morning Reccy,
Dreamydoo, it was Mollymoo the Wise Woman on about balsamic vinegar.
Funnily enough for a pure bred alkie never used alcohol in cooking apart from a couple of slugs of brandy in French onion soup.It could be worse, I could be filing.

JMollyC - lost all my marbles!
Morning BH. Never been to Glasgow, but I wouldn't waste any time in looking for a bikini! Enjoy the sun while it's there.
Weed-eating man almost finished with weeds - should have taken a pic - nobody will believe what a jungle it was out there.14 October 2013 was the first day of the best days of my life!

Dreamy: I've always thought that a potjie is more effort than it's worth. I like eating it when made properly - it shouldn't be stew (except for something like waterblommetjies, naturally). We prefer a good old Braai with trimmings.
No taking the family out for lunch. By the time the cubs woke up it was more appropriate to have a quick brunch. They both say they're studying now.I'll do whatever it takes

Welcome back Tips! I think somebody here said fall forward and spring back.
Potjie no effort at all, but more a winter thing, except here where everything is upside down and wrong way round. Are you one of the pack in layers and don't stir brigade, then?
Molly, if there's lots of cinnamon (but not too much) in the apple crumble I'll have some, please, thank you, and you're a darling14 October 2013 was the first day of the best days of my life!
