Army Thread Tuesday 19th November
:wavin: Army
Glad today is over. We're pretty busy at the moment, and likely to be until about mid December. I think I need to book my leave, then I'll have something definite to look forward to.
Sorry about the cold snap, Ovaries. I truly sympathise. Anything under 18C is cold to me these days.I'll do whatever it takes

And don't let the world "socialist" put you off. They're harmless these days :H
Remember the "Rooi Gevaar" Dreamy? For the others: the literal translation is "Red Danger" and was used by the Apartheid government to describe the perceived threat of communism and socialism. Similarly, Swart Gevaar (Black Danger) was used to instill fear about the dire consequences of majority black rule. It was officially part of the school curriculum in the form of "Geestesweerbaarheid" (mental resilience) - an ideal opportunity to brainwash the white youth.I'll do whatever it takes

English-speaking Saffas were called "soutpiele" (salted dicks) - because they had one foot in England, the other in Africa. Guess what dangles in between? :HI'll do whatever it takes
