Good morning, folksies.

Not even the fecking sparrows are stirring yet. There's apparently going to be an illegal march into the Cape Town city centre, preceded by attempts to disrupt the major transport routes Into the city. That means I have to get there before the chaos starts. Mrs. T has been allowed to work from home today. My company wasn't so nice.

I'll just leave especially early this afternoon.

Hiyas folksies... wee check in from the end of Thanksgiving Day here in the good old US of A. I had the strangest Thanksgiving Day ever... but I saw how another culture celebrates and it was vewwy enlightening. Before the dinner, we stood in a circle and held hands and said a prayer and I was thinking "Should I say 'it works if you work it'" at the end... :H

Tips, you do work in Slaapstad, after all - you expect all those laidback dudes to get up early because of a protest march? Worried about today - I hope the poor street traders do the sensible thing and stay away; they really are between a rock and a hard place - losing a day's income is bad enough for them, but losing all their stock is much much worse. Take care, ok? Is Mrs T's work such that she can work from home, or is it a proper day off?
