Good evening all.

'twas the night before Christmas
And all through the house
Many creatures were crawling
Perhaps even a mouse.....

Middle child (daughter) staying over. She has had about 6 million glasses of champagne and has stormed off to bed because I would not let my eldest daughter's standard poodle sleep over. The dog is high maintenance and I already have a house full of my own pets. Anyway, she gave me a few death stares threw two chocolates at my pillow went to bed. I reckon she's bloody high maintenance! So glad I won't feel like she will in the morning!!

Had my eldest daughter and her family plus a ring in for dinner. Then I took Nicholas driving to look at all the Christmas lights. It was lovely.

I'm all prepared for tomorrow and even have a crash hat ready in case of a disaster.....

I wish you all much love, peace and enjoyment tomorrow. May the company at your tables be splendiferous and the love you share be grand! For, these are the things most important in our lives.

I want to thank each and every one of you for enhancing my days, and for being the most wonderfully generous companions a girl could ever wish for!

Happy Xmas Undies!!

I have to confess that I threw a hissy fit on Sunday and ran away to a hostel for a few days to be on my own. I just really needed some time out, and the prospect of being stuck in a small apartment with Mr B, given both of our stress levels at the moment didn't bear thinking about. I slept lots and had swims and walks on the beach, plus a facial and a massage. Left Mr B to organise Xmas on his own.

I invited him over last night and we had a nice night watching crap TV and did the same this morning accompanied by raspberries and greek yoghurt. We've just got home and catching up with family, plus listening to the Messiah (appropriately enough the "We like sheep" of the "We like sheep have been led astray" just came on - it always makes me fall around the floor laughing. I guess Handel just couldn't have appreciated how much it gets played at Xmas for its comedy value :H:H). It is raining and cold here, so once Mr B gets out of the bath we will start our marathon DVD session of Borgen, with ham, lovely rye bread and some salads later this afternoon. Dessert is gorgonzola and figs with Xmas pudding and dessert wine for Mr B.

Like others, I would like to thank you for being here and keeping me sane at times. I hope you all have a lovely lovely day!!

Missy, time out never hurt anyone :l

The Lamp is carving the ham and all the salads are done. Just about to pop in the shower for the second time, bloody hell it's hot or is it just me? anyway...going to slip into some new fancy pants the locusts bought me, they even have bells on, so there is no sneaking up on anyone...and a top too. Of course.

Such a pleasure and a blessing to have been in your company this year Undies and Overies...not going to sook on but I reckon Nicey said it just right, "Enhancing my days". Just Brilliant.
