Speaking of ageing dogs...we nearly lost ours yesterday, think the heat is really getting him, seemed to have a mini stroke...anyway, much better today but not seeing much out of one eye...bloody hell...anyway, kind of glad we got the pup, even though she is peeing on everyone in sight...
Afternoon spent in airconditioned movie watching the Hobbit in 3D, jumped a mile and yelled out shit! when the spiders popped up a couple of times...could be getting too old for the glasses...
Cakes that menu is delish...I want to know more about coffee marinated beef? absolutely gorgeous sounding food...Comment

Also, I only ever had six bucks at a time in my wallet. Four of it was for my wine - the remaining two was for groceries and petrol.

Morning Nicey & all to come.
The coffee flavour was very subtle, the end product looked a bit like a Thai beef salad....a fair whack of Green Goddess dressing would have really made it sing. So I imagine the beef was a fillet marinated in coffee, cooked med/rare & then thinly sliced & tossed with salad bits.myhappyplace;1604412 wrote:

Always make me little heart sing to see the Reginald here...Reg did I ever tell you that my favourite Uncle's nickname was Reggie? My Mum, his sister, called him that...never sure why. Not a soul in the world who had met him would have a bad thing to say about him. I loved him so, he passed away last year but even that didn't make me too sad 'coz I was just so happy to have had him in my life & have the memories.
The little red boat is all over the news here...there's an ice breaker on the way (not a double vodka...a ship)but apparently it may get away under its own steam.
I'm off down to the beach to see if we can catch some dinner.Formerly Angelcakes, new name, new attitude.Comment

Yes, it is nice and safe in this drawer. I'll just curl up here in between Mr G's G-strings, Bridgey's nana pants, Happy's comfy yoga undies, and the various other Underoo unmentionables and have a little nap, I think.

glad to see you out of the fort glassy, this is the happy place where we can all be ourselves.
hey gang, i swam with the goggles this morning. was a big failure, i just cant get the hang of putting my face in the water, i managed only two 25m laps doing it "properly" and breathing bilaterally i did a total of 200m before getting out in disgust of myself i think i need to target only one skill each session or two just until it is more natural...I am to impatient and understand what is required but i get cranky and to impatient to get to the end of each lap. i think i need to enjoy it but not sure how to do that. i rode the pushbike to swimming, then decided to push myself to make up for the bad swim, so i rode the long way to the state forest then rode 3 of the tracks. total of over 25km for the day... i can barely walk now
