Underoos and Friends - December
Morning Raggsy and all,
My everyday survival kit includes a 10 point morning gratitude list, and a bit of meditation.
A cruisey xmas day had with family. 'Twas fab to see me sister who's over from yonder. She's a bit of a high flyer and i've just realised she has some acutely relevant skills re a new project i've just began. Funny. I've always thought of her as my 'little sister', and not seeing her personal and professional growth as clearly as i might. Yes, i am a boofhead.
The weather here is so up and down, the sooner the band move into Bridge's outhouse in sunnier climes, the better. We've already drawn up the jobs roster.
Merry xmas ovaries!
Take care, and wishing all a peaceful, joyous day.

The weather is also up and down in outhouse territory Mr G
Merry Christmas to all our lovely visitors over the last day.
And Bird! Where the hell have you been woman?
Well retriever-cam got into the kitchen bin a few times during the hussle yesterday, consequently there were several trips to the back yard over night
Mr G isn't it amazing how we lose track of what's right in front of our noses? There's your little sister, just the thing you need, there all along. And maybe you develop your relationship a bit as a result. If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

Hi all
Cool pics. Kinda boring Xmas here, the kids are watching Scooby-doo. Up until a couple weeks ago it was marching band all the time, thought it would never end, out of town games and practice all the time. Glad its over where we can just hang out at home and be kinda normal family..

Morning all! Definitely chilling here...bit of relaxation mode...I'm investigating music for yoga on Spotify and its an experience that's for sure.
Excellent news on your sister connection Mr G. Isn't it amazing how we do tend to overlook those near to us. Had a similar thing happen the other day and I nearly smacked myself in the head for not thinking of it. Bridge, the pup is a mini vacuum cleaner so I'm wondering of they make retriever cams that are small enough to attach to her? Bird :l really good to see you.
Everyone is still in semi coma from yesterday although the Lamp and littlest locust are out golfing. It's still hot and sweaty so I'd love a swim in Nicey's pool...
Edit...and good morning Nicey!

What a quiet day... all the shops are closed, the cicadas aren't too noisy as long as I stay inside, and there's lots of leftovers in the fridge for a couple of days.
We've been getting rain here w3hich is keeping temperatures nice and cool.
Yes, it's terrific that you and your sister have caught up and are going to help each other Mr. G.
Hiya Birdy.

Bridge - I was thinking about how you had to endure those horror stories of sessions long past. They are terribly embarrassing to sit through. My family usually do this on special occasions, just for my enjoyment. This is the first year I haven't had to sit through it. Someone forgot tradition - how sad. I think it is a term of endearment because I can't imagine fond friends or family deliberately wanting to make us feel like shit. I actually mentioned how distressing I found it, so perhaps someone listened! You could suggest you h.a.t.e sitting through the flash backs.
Cakes - I was industrious but not that good. The garages were out for collection before the neighbours even woke. It helps ( or not ) having a grandson stay over and wake the house out 5am. I told him I'd take him to Frozen. I bought him the Despicable Me DVDs for Christmas and was hoping to see at least one. Didn't push the issue this morning given his mood and the suggestion he needed to go home and get back to normal. I helped pack the car!It is not what we do, but how much love we put into the doing.
