Yep, I watched the tattoo, and one of the tunes was a 9/8. I said to Mr Rags. Oh, listen to that, it's in 9/8.

I play along with my fingers to lots of the tunes. ( But, I've never been able to get my fingers round the Black Bear.)

I reckon I should write a letter to HM and suggest that she tell her chappies to employ either Mr Howard or Mr Fontini to organise the fireworks at the castle next time.

If I was the Colonel I would've done it different and had some squaddies at the ready to get the rust off the ratchets and holding pins and finish it off with a squirt of WD 40.

1 doz oysters each. (Back up to $12.99 /doz)
Nicoise salad (which we didn't make last Friday)
Baby lamb chops nestled in rosemary then BBq'd
A couple of chicken wings BBq'd and dipped in some of the leftover sticky sauce from last Friday.
Mr Rags will have some of the leftover ham (I really don't like salty foodstuffs)
Some salami cheese and biccies.
Coconut ice cream
(which I forgot about last week... sorry Undies, but no-one reminded me to put it out).
A lot of Daily Juice orange juice
A glass of Chandon
Watch the 9:00 pm fireworks.
Bed.
Finish reading my Kathy Reichs book.
No sex... either proper or improper.

We were invited to Glebe to watch the midnight fireworks, but really, too much hassle this year we just didn't feel like it.
