          up early!
          Thanks for your comments Tony.
It's important to us that he be home. He gets very anxious when he away from home or Nana.
We have no idea how long this will go on....we just want him comfortable and for Nana to rest.
I am in a fog, and feel tired....it's something new every day. But we will get through it.
          Love and hugs to all

I hear you mama, it's something everyday. Inspite of all the things going on in you're lives, I must stay you guys are doing great and keeping strong. Just wondering if the thought of drinking and numbing gets less for you guys? I know Pauly mentioned it the other day and its the same for me, still thinking about it.
Woke up to snow today. I'm not working today but I have a ton of errands to run. I hate driving in the snow. Hope everyone has a grat Tuesday.

                Liz
I have been battling this beast seriously for about three years. As time passes and you learn and study more, it just seems to fade. You recognize that things are only worse with booze, not better. I still drink some on Saturday date night, but that's it. No more 12 pack a night pity party for this girl. plus - if that phone rings in the middle of the night, I HAVE to respond.
Pauly- thanks for asking about Clay. He's doing ok, but really sad about his grnadpa and hates going over there and seeing him in his condition. He is so good for Nana cause he tickles her and plays with her and makes her laugh. We have really cracked down on the studying now that football is over. His English mid term study guide almost killed me last night. He is also prepping to take is SAT for the second time. Trina is still in the picture, but isn;t around as much as before.
I want to get a curling iron I saw that makes messy loopy curls.
Actaully - I am chopping my hair in a few months, as soon as my bangs get down to my chin. Amy Robach is on the cover of People Magazine this week, and I have saved it to take to my hairdresser.
OK....back to my Excel spreadsheet...listening to old school Gospel on my I Phone for some reason. It's very soothing....
                and kisses to Louie...xo

                  Hi Everyone!

Wow...everyone is going through so much and staying so strong. Way to go everyone! I am also having drinking thoughts, they pop up randomly. I have not taken my AB since last Thursday because I feel like I just take TOO many pills. Sierra is going to a sleepover this Saturday night, so I will be popping the AB before then, because that's just a set-up for disaster! Me, alone on a Saturday night with no AB in my bod is not a good combo!

Mama - I hope Pop is at least peaceful at this point. It's so good that Clay is so close to his grandparents. I sure miss my Granny, she was the sweetest little old lady you've ever met. Not at all like I will be when I am old(er)...a grumpy biaatch I'm sure. LOL I was chewing Juicy Fruit gum yesterday and it reminded me so much of her....:h She also loved Grape Flavored Hubba Bubba, her dentures did not stop her at all. LOL

Tomorrow night I get my hair chopped off a la Hallie Berry style...we shall see how this turns out. The gay guy at work just told me I'm looking foxy, so I will take that as a compliment. I told him it's cuz I'm getting old and fighting it kicking and screaming. HA

Alright, time to catch up around the boards, I was quiet yesterday, sometimes I'm just not in the "mood". Love y'all!!! :h:h
:heart:I love my daughter more than alcohol:heart:

                      MAE all,
My doc gave me Rx for verapamil for the irregular HR..he said yes to AFib and SVT..one could have caused the other and whether the clots caused the AFib or vice versa is unknown.
He suggested seeing an allergist. I am making an appointment with a doc whose dad I saw as a child. Probably allergy tests but will talk to her first.
More darn meds but beats the irregular HR thingy….getting old sucks!!

We have 3 generations going strong too Mama, it's hard to be in the "middle", you're pulled both ways, angst of teens and aging parents. *sigh* My folks are picking up Sierra to day for some grandparent/granddaughter time. She has a cold AND serious period pains...poor thing is miserable...but she's been so happy lately. I think we are on the upward swing of this mental anguish. Friday is her last day of school. She is homeschooling the last semester, Thursday we go to orientation. She goes back to high school next year for Senior year. It's all part of the plan to get her through this mental thing she had going on.

I am only on Season 2 Episode 5 of Sons of Anarchy, I cant even imagine what they'll be up to in Seasons 5, 6, etc, they are already crazy. LOL

Sierra's best friend is named Jackson, aka Jack, I have renamed him Jax. He is the homeliest little guy, but I just love him. He is the kind of guy that girls overlook but turns out to be the prize. I wish I'd learned that 25 years ago. HA

I think my twin (ha ha) Gemma, is going crazy is whatever season of SOA is on right now.

mama I was in ER for what we thought was an allergic reaction and at the same time an irregular heart thingy. And I have had several ER trips for some allergy related thing where my hands get so itchy and burning...he is wondering if this is some immune system thing that the allergist might be able to diagnose...they are on a fishing expedition...imho..
