MAE all,
Feeling pretty good this morning...slept OK a little restless but maybe the new meds are settling in.
Sun is out but 25F so cold.....bbbrrrrr
Staying home today and see allergist tomorrow...I have an idea of what I want from her and it is NOT the battery of standard allergy tests yet again...not in the budget. If she is not OK with that I will find someone else. Guess I am in charge of managing all this so I will get what I want on my terms...well if possible..

Pauly I agree with what you said, it almost seems like once a person gets diagnosed they go downhill fast, I wonder if you didn't know you were sick if you'd last longer? I think that's why I avoid the doctor, I dont want to know!

Liz - I am right there with you on the shoe addiction. Speaking of which, I should be getting 3 new pairs of boots in the mail today.....

I TTFP today. I was seriously on edge the last couple days. I mean, one day of drinking wouldn't hurt, right? WRONG. Not the way I drink.

Alright everyone, I will be getting my Hallie Berry on tonight...I hope it turns out. If not, I'll go for the Sinead O'Connor look instead. LOL

Hello everyone. I went to Disney on Ice last night. Had a WONDERFUL time.  It was so nice to get out and away from everything. I do want to tell you that we went out before hand and I did have 2 drinks. Then I switched to Diet Coke. It worked out fine. I am to a point where I needed to try that. I definitely cannot have alcohol in the house. But I did want to see if I can have an occasional drink when I go out. (Which is probably 2-3 times a year) I?ll see how this goes.

I know right???!!!! The only time I drank "out" was when I was young and hot and men would pay for my drinks. That probably wouldn't happen now. I won't test that theory though, I promise!

You guys make me laugh. K9 better head right home after the hair cut. I'm sure you'll be hot and we can't have men offering to buy you drinks. Good for you Nora. I "tested" as well a few weeks ago. One glass of wine at a luncheon. There was only one bottle on the table and so we all had to share, thankfully not enough to go around more than once. I did want more though and that kinda scared me. Not ready to try that yet again. I definitely was the same way with paying for drinks. So much cheaper to buy the bottle.
I guess I wasn't clear in my earlier post. I was supposed to be off today and someone called in sick, so I had to cover. The new shoes definitely helped my mood. Guess I'm going in tomorrow and Friday too, well off the do some laundry and the dishes. I just had to relax for two minutes first.

Kradle!!! Good to see you. I was struggling too until I took my Antabuse today. I convinced myself that I was giving my liver a break by not taking it everyday...when in reality it was my stupid Alkie brain scheming a way for me to drink when Sierra is at a sleepover this weekend....Well I killed that thought by popping two pills today. You don't need luck...YOU GOT THIS GIRLFRIEND!!! :l:h

Drinking thoughts are looming for us all b/c it's the holidays and we are all stressed out over it. That's my theory.....
Just sitting down to eat shrimp scampi...yummy. Made from scratch thank you very much.
Drinks are ridiculous, I know, but drinking at home is not an option for me, if that makes sense.
