tell the Chief why you deserve the job and how many other jobs you have applied for and ask him to be honest with you about you need to be doing differently to get the promotion or job change you deserve
I would really respect someone that asked for honest feedback and was sincere in their desire to advance...
but you KNOW I would hire you in a heartbeat!!
I survived today...no lunch, no bathroom breaks...nothing! It was insanity today!1
But I am fine and feeling rather proud of myself....I love my family more than alcohol.:h

Hope you and DH feel better Dottie, sinus stuff is definitely no fun. I also can't believe it's December already. 2013 not the greatest year but still flew by, just goes to show time flies even when you're not having fun or maybe I'm just getting old and tired. Bleh my sinuses are acting up again too Dottie,just when i was feeling better,simply saline works good i also found a product called "ayr"its a saline gel that squirts straight up i usually use both but i got cocky thinking i was over all this and hadnt been using them,tonite i used the LAST of the turkey leftovers and made soup(had to use dark meat yuck)but i put tons of pepper in mine to try and unclog myself,hope everyone has a good nite
I have too much shit to do today and tomorrow to drink:sohappy:
I'm taking care of the "tomorrow me":thumbsup:
Drinkin won't help a damn thing! Will only make me sick for DAYS and that ugly, spacey dumb feeling-no thanks!Comment

Wow a lot of sinus stuff going on. Hope you all feel better. Busy day at work. Had to "canvas" the neighborhood with fliers when I got home from work tonight. Trying to stop this nonsense rezoning they are trying to do next door. Another meeting tomorrow night. I guess this all keeps me busy and out of trouble, right?
So between us, I'm feeling a little "sick" tonight. I think I see a sick day coming on. Have a good night all.Comment

Good morning all. Ii did call in sick today. Have a doctors appointment to get thr results of a biopsy I had last week. Needless to say I'm a nervous wreck. Gonna try and get some holiday shopping done in a bit

Hey everybody,sheesh pretty quiet this morning,rain predicted here for today and tmorrow again,not looking forward to it,everybody in vegas forgets how to drive when it rains here,ugh my 15 yr old is sick and i think he kindly passed it to me(thanks brady)i cannot get with it! i feel tired even though i slept pretty darn good,hate that anyways hope everybody has a good tuesday

Sorry there's so much sinus stuff going around. I can't do nasel spays or gels, Pauly. I always said I could never do cocaine cause I won't put anything up my nose...
Been having a hard time....very angry the last few days....not certain what's going on...need. To get a grip.

Co-HBIC checking in on this rainy Tuesday morning Liz...what biopsy, I guess I missed that too! Anyways, I hope it all goes well...and I hope you recover from being "sick" soon. I've had a few of those "sick" days lately too...they're nice. Just don't get caught out shopping or out to lunch...my town is so small that I have to stay home when I'm "sick". LOL
What's going on Kradle? I hope you're ok. Have you heard from or about Matthieu and how he's doing? I think of you and your kiddos a lot. Hope everything is going alright for you :h
Nora...did you TTFP? I did. I was talking to Sierra/Adina/WHN last night and it came up how I used to vomit a lot. She told me she heard me every night/morning. She also said that one time I went out (drunk) and was gone a LONG time and she was sitting on my bed crying, but when I got home I was too drunk to even notice. And THAT IS WHY I TTFP every stinkin' day....no going back to that nonsense!!! Jeesh.
The new BOSS of the City is coming in today (City Administrator). He doesn't officially start until Jan 6th but he's being introduced tonight at the City Council Meeting. I'm used to women running this place...I hope a man can live up to their standards. LOL
Ok...I am ready to meet the Chief today at 3...send me good vibes. I am all dressed up too. I figured between meeting with him and the new boss, and the Mayor all up in my buisiness, I should at least make an effort. HA

Dh and I are taking our meds so we can get better. I am so sick of being sick. At lease I can say that it is not the sickness I used to have....
We are staying in and catching up on laundry etc. I am liking this lazy lifestyle..but I do have things to do but I know they will keep....Comment
