I won't hear about the Dispatcher Job until the middle of January. It won't be filled until it's convenient for the lady in HR...ya know? She's got vacation and a business trip scheduled, then the holidays, so I'm SOL (shit outta luck). HBIC ain't too happy about it either.

Nora, it was hard to watch. Gave me heart palpitations!
Mama Bear- we are having Chili too. I was planning on just serving it with plain saltines, but I feel inadequate after hearing you are having cornbread:H I may have to see if I have some mix in the pantry.
I made something called Christmas Crack this afternoon. I've rarely made any sweets at Christmastime but I feel in the mood this year. The kids almost passed out seeing mommy bake, lol!

K9- your hair would look cute a'la Halle Berry. Go for it!

So not a great day for me. Dog is dog sick, she can't even walk. Spent the afternoon at the vet and got some I'V fluids and meds. She's seems a little better this evening. Our 23 year old daughter informed us that she is moving to st.lucia with her boyfriend of six months. He is going to medical school there, and I use that term loosely, she will leave in three weeks. I have been crying for two days. She is giving up her job and everything else. I told my parents today which was also not easy. So many red flags,with this guy. I'm absolutely sick about it. Nope you guys are having a better day.

Hey everyone,tony my hubs used to have a t-shirt with that pic on it funny,aww liz kids at that age hmm my oldest is 23 and she makes some pretty weird decisions,hope your doggie is o.k thats heartbreaking,nora kickin the al ass! 100 days tomorrow,youve come a loooong way im proud of you,what the heck is christmas crack?tummys better here but sneezing and feeling weak,i hate this! can i please just feel normal for awhile?hope everyone has a good wednesday

It was yummy. My 8 year old loved it. But, do not use wax paper! Use foil greased up instead. Mine stuck to the wax paper and it was a bitch taking the paper off. I'm hoping wax paper is not toxic because we ingested a lot last night!

Day 4 done and dusted- bring on day 5!

Liz- sorry to hear about your dog. Hearing about you daughter makes me sad! I know they have to spread their wings but I have told little Shelby she will go to college here, and settle down next door to mommy

Wow Liz what can I say...
Christmas Crack - ok then.
Uncle Al is trying to come for a visit but he is not welcome, he did bring Uncle Nick last night but they were not allowed into my house. So day 5 starts of being NF and I do admit that I feel better, well off to the treadmill and do my morning workout and then back to the job hunting.

Made an appointment with heart doc to check out the palpitations. I have met the deductible for the year so I might as well go before the end of the year...I want to ask some questions.

Liz - I hope the doggie gets better soon. I know how hard it is when they get sick. I had a dream last night about my little dog Sandy that I had to put to sleep in July :upset: And I know it's gotta be so hard to see your daughter doing things you don't want her to do. I hope it all turns out, for her sake (and yours).

Ok I seriously was just STARTING My post and it posted without my persmission!

Anyway, where was I??? Oh yes...NORA...100 DAYS!!!! Oh my word woman you are kicking ass...I am so proud of you!!! :l:h

I didn't check out Movie 43 last night...instead I got RE-HOOKED on Sons of Anarchy...started from Season 1, Episode 1, and now I know what I'll be doing for the next few weeks. Something about that Jax.....and I don't normally like blondes...but I'd make an exception for him. LOL

Mama - has the watermelon digested yet? I had 10 double stuff oreo cookies for dinner last night. The night before I had a donut, so yeah I'm doing well on my health kick. :H

Tony - The nurses got to see flashes of you and we don't??? What's up with that???

FT - Tell Uncle Nic and butthead AL they are no longer welcome!
