Pauly - I am so lost in my own little pity party that I didn't mention your post.
I would say I would probably hit the strip for a Vega New Years ONE time in my ife and that would probably be plenty. It's like Mardi Gras....once was enough. Someone puked on my shoes and it was time to go!!
Bret and I have one goal on New Years....to stay awake till midnight!!!

Just saw your question Mama....I am only on Season 1...I had watched it before but it was a LONG time ago so I started from the beginning! I believe I have about 60 episodes to go....I LOVE Gemma, she reminds me of you for some reason Mama...LOL And I don't think her hair is so bad...a little 80's maybe. HA

WooHoo Nora congrats on 100 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lots of errands today and need to visit dad...I did sign the DNR for him when he went to the LTC Alzheimer's facility and I have all the POA stuff...hard but there is no one else to take care of this.
Now dh is having issues so I made an appointment for him with cardiologist tomorrow. He has bronchitis and cough and I think that is the issue but will take him to doc anyway. Cant hurt and maybe I am wrong..always something.

I couldn't believe when I was told that Nana asked Pop what he thought about signing the DNR. He hs no idea what planet he on. But he does have a living weill, and it is against his wishes. I guess she can't face the truth and now Hubs and SIL are going to talk to her. SIl is all for it, and hubs thinks she is being dramatic. Thus my decision to stay out of it now matter what I think. Between work and this, my brain hurts.
Gemma is hot and a bad ass loving mother Niner, so I'll say thank you!!

Mama, I'm sorry about Pops.

We are going up to Tahoe for New Years. I'll will be lucky to stay up until midnight. That's the good thing about having small children- It's perfectly acceptable to celebrate New Years on Eastern time and call it quits at 9pm :H

K9- I finished Orange is the New Black in a weekend. Loved the series. Some days I would love to deactivate my FB account. But, my family is all in GA and that's the easiest way to share these days.

I'm going out with another couple tonight. A little anxious because of course there will be drinking. But, I feel very secure after taking my little helper
I got some presents wrapped and under the tree today. My kids can now stop singing "DO The Know It's Christmas" in protest.

I just got home from the Doctor. Antibiotics, steroid and cough medicine. Big old confusion at the pharmacy because they thought I was still taking antabuse and I couldn't have that cough med. Finally got that all cleared up. I've got bronchitis, wheezing, etc.

I just want to thank you all for sticking with me. :l:h

Mama - i just wanted to tell you how sorry I am. Back in Feb when I got to the hospital, the male nurse took me aside and sat me down and talked to me. My Mom & Dad had said that they wanted them to do all measures to save him. I knew that was not what my Dad really wanted. So, I had to talk to my parents. That was really hard. My Dad definitely did not want to be intubated again. So Dad signed a DNR.

I am sending you lots of love & prayers. This is just such a hard time. :h

holy cats....it was quiet here last night
went and sat with Pop for a bit. When they hydrate him with the IV I am amazed at how much better he looks. He even spoke. He told us there were nine people in the room, one of whom was named Ted (my father) and that he sold him a Chevy Malibu!! We all just rolled with it and had a little giggle.
Nana has signed the DNT and hubs sat with her till 1am and they talked for a long time. I feel much better. Now I need to calm his sister down.
Anyway, up early for some reason.
Off to shower, get some coffee and watch the news.
