Aaaawh, I can just see Amy: polished school shoes and a ham sandwich for lunch. My dog once shredded my leather hiking boots - talk about her being in the dog box!

The olive jam came out well, thanks - not as an intense olive taste as the bought jam, but I think I know how to improve the taste - just waiting for the olives to ripen.

Yep, I think she'd be very happy with a lunch consisting of polished school shoes and a ham sandwich.

I'd love to have a go at making olive jam, but olives are just too feckin expensive here. :upset:

Evening all! issues chez sylv being resolved rapidly so I should return the ranks before long. The bird has a new foster mum, problem is she's off on holiday on Saturday so he's home a week but so far the trial is going brilliantly. Himself has a new scooter, being picked up on Thursday so I will no longer be a personal chauffeur on the side, at this point I will remove the broom which (metaphorically speaking) has been firmly rammed up my backside for the best part of a fortnight. No news on interviews yet dammit, if they'd jump to it I'd know whether to start reading pension regs of have a major meltdown and tantrum. Only working two days this week so some of my life just might resume to normal very soon - well I bloody hope it does.

Fed now, thank you - imagine chilli con carne but a curry with coconut cream added. Not bad actually.

Evening army. I had left over chilli con carne with brown rice and salad trying to be healthy lol but I do need to lose a few ibs I put on 3 r 4 ibs over the last 3 wks or so over doing it on the choc, biccies and crisps so had to cut most of it out with just an odd treat some days. Need some sweet treats but I don't make an effort to get it off it will creep up more and buying new clothes in a bigger size is not an option vanity and mostly cash wise. I made it to my lunchtime ladies AA meeting at ipm and was glad I went. After that I got a nice dress on a sale rack in the mall nearby reduced from 55e to 20e. Also got nice red suede shoes in Pennys or Primark in uk leather upper for only 13e so I was delighted with my bargains. Had a cappuchino in O Brien's caf? and did some food shopping in Lidl and then home on the bus. I have to skip aqua fit tonight as my cold isn't any better so i'm to make a concoction with hot water manuka honey cloves and ginger. Going to do this morning and evening and hopefully it will shift. Enjoy your evening whatever you're doing. Just put me wheelie bin out for tomorrow some washing up to finish and then chill and see wots on tv or read.
