Glad to be of service.
Had lovely walk up to the shops, bright and cold but I was wrapped up warm but that wind didn't half turn bitter.

Luckily the S&H was off and came to pick me up....which was just as well as I had a bag load of stuff including 4 giant Christmas crackers.

You must be close enough to the shops Jacks are ye? Im about 3 miles from city centre - imagine by time I'd walk down would be too knackered for shoppin!! :goodjob: for the S&H!

Have not started any shopping for Crimbo yet- hoping to do some whilst in London The baby bro is a great wan to go shopping with- no messing or dithering with him!

Just had me most ultimate of treats there- a choccie melting middle pudding with vanilla ice cream-- YUMMY On holidays from SW too btw!!

We're about 5 miles out of Noocastle but just thinking about it we have a canny little shopping centre just up the road about 10/15 minutes walk ......depends on the shoes. Next, M&S, 24 hour friggintesco, Matalan, ooooh and a Poundland.
If they ever build a Primark there I'll only have to get the bus to work.

Is it not the law that they won't let you out of Poundland unless you have bought some dog chews and a note book and some Weight Watchers prawn cocktail crisps.

:H Ah no, the law over here is that ye cant leave unless ye have bought the most random of stuff... ya know? Like eye-cream, sink unblocker, and another piece of Tupperware and depending on the day ye might have to get some Ferrero or raspberry ruffles too

Same here.............I got fed up once so bought some big fat elastic bands to keep the mis-matched lids on.

I'm champion, hun. Feel like I'm making dome headway in the Christmas shopping.

Oh and I saw a lass that used to live over the road.............haven't seen her for an age. Bless her she's had breast cancer and now clear a year. Her daughter was one of my Brownies ......and get this she's nearly 25.

I told yis about the time the porters stole a box of Ferrero off the ward?!! To this day I still haven't got over it or forgave them!! Give them the evils every time I see the culprits. Wouldn't have gave a toss if they hadda took a box of roses or quality street but ferreros- no cant forgive them :no: Course they think Iz nuts
