    Army Thread Friday 6th December

Friend of my once got really organised and made a shopping list arranged by aisle, printed it out, marked what was needed, gave list to hubby.

    Easy peasy, you'd think.

    Nope.

Hubby went, bought every single item on the list. Needed two trolleys, she said.
14 October 2013 was the first day of the best days of my life!

LMAO Dreamy :H In this house I'm the one who hands over a shopping list with trepidation because Mrs. T so often gets it wrong. I have to resort to writing down brand names, cultivars etc, not to mention sizes / weights and quantities.

        See you laters, Jackie.

I think she does it deliberately, though

Tips, of course its deliberate. You think Mrs T is a fool? I would too, in her place.

Listen, you never told us about the Xmas party - was it good?

              Hey Dreamy

The office party was so-so. I'm not a big social animal, so I left pretty early. The food was good. Whole braaied sirloin, amongst other things. And really sweet sweet potaro - the sticky variety. Nice setting just outside Durbanville.

A colleague's wife gave birth last night, so that lifted our spirits somewhat today. For the rest the mood was quite somber. As was to be expected, I guess.

Do you know that's very poignant in a way.
