Weeding Pinks, came inside for water and a peek (and I double-checked that there was a k at the end). People have taken to bed for less reason than that - take her a cup of tea, you'll be in her good books for a long time.

And in other news: I live next to a guest house. No, that's not the news, nor the fact that new guests have checked in, or that they have a toddler-size hooman bean there, or that he has a very strong voice when crying. News is, he has a black plastic scooter, and is scooting around on the paving. Any idea how irritatingly noisy that is? Goodbye peace and quiet.

Omg. I remember those black plastic scooters. They're ubreakable too. Both the cubs had them, and countless Sunday afternoon nanna naps were ruined as a result.

Off now again before I get run over by a renegade tumbleweed :egad:

SHAG are due to arrive on Thursday. Mr S is clucking and in nesting mode - and driving me mad.
Oh and friend of SHAG is arriving on Friday from the UK and staying here too. FFS :upset:
Seems now I 'm under orders Mr Scrooge here to go buy 4 feckin' pillows in Heatons - I miss Molls - 'cos she'd know that is where you get cheap pillows NOT in M&S - my second home :H
