Big day today, with Madiba's memorial service in Johannesburg. It's going to be pretty ironic to observe Barack Obama and Raul Castro sharing the podium, though.

Morning troops, not looked at the weather here yet but I will have to, in about 10 minutes. Got up early to do some interview preparation and somehow haven't made it, might have to indulge in a bit of reading of the regulations at work - I can get away with that at least

I hate wishing my life away but I will be very glad when Friday is over and the decision is made one way or the other, just so long as it goes my way
